Job Summary
Business Analyst Chapter Lead will be part of FI Clearing and Automation Hive working on New FI Clearing Regulatory Implementation and Payment Transformation Initiatives.
- Deliver business solutions for the Cash - Financial Institution Clearing Hive
- Responsible for Business Requirement gathering by working with PO.
- The Sr Business Soln Manager is involved in the design or modification of business systems or IT systems as they are related to the installed MTS, Volpay Clearing platforms. He / she interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their problems and needs. The Sr Business Soln Engineer gathers, documents, and analyzes business needs and requirements
- Responsible for collaborating with all SCB’s partners to find alternatives and solutions to business challenges. Seek out systems solutions (either internal to client or external 3rd party solutions) that can be leveraged to meet business requirements. Engage the business client early and effectively, building solid relationships.
- Accountable for Identifying, understanding, negotiating, and documenting business requirements with various groups. Oversee the documentation of any analysis/requirements in the form of Impact analysis, BRD or Functional Specification Document, ensuring timeliness and completeness.
- Responsible for scheduling and planning of cost estimates and timelines of projects.
- Accountable for managing the delivery of project scope and requirements documents.
- Act as primary liaison with business functions and solution management during the development lifecycle, from needs analysis and functional specification through testing, QA and rollout.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult as a guide for SIT Team and Business users in developing and effective Test Strategy. Assist them when they run into roadblocks. Assist the Development Team in analyzing software defects and reporting it in ADO tracker.
- Responsible for developing effective User Validation Tests and conduct actual implementation of these plans. Support business users in the initial few weeks of the implementation.

- Responsible for appropriate assistance and support to be given to the Production Support teams for investigation and resolution of production issues.

• Act as the risk control owner under the Group’s risk management framework at the appropriate level
• Balance business delivery on time, quality and cost constraints with risks & controls to ensure that they do not materially threaten the Group’s ability to remain within acceptable risk levels
• Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery planning for the entire technology portfolio
• Ensure the effective management of risk, issues and assurance reporting relating to strategy and transformation, engaging with and reporting back regularly to Cash Technology Management Team

Our Ideal Candidate
- 10+ years’ experience in clearing channels not limited to FED, CHIPS, NACHA, SWIFT, SEPA, Target, CHAPS, UK Faster Payments, BACS, BOJnet, UK clearing, CHAPS connection protocols as well as message formatting.
- Deep knowledge of system interfacing and integration and technical processes for wire transfer, inputs and outputs
- Extensive product and program management experience with techniques such as use case analysis, data / process flow diagramming, process mapping and requirements documentation is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of payment system functionality (ideally the ACI Worldwide MTS system), particularly as they relate to FI & Correspondent Banking.
Subject matter expertise in MTS instances (US/DE/JP/UK) and internal/external interfaces
- Good knowledge of RGW & ACE pelican systems. Ability to run RGW reports and good understanding of ACE Business Rules.
- Good knowledge of MTS interactive and batch outputs. Knowledge of IFML and how it interacts with Sanction Screening system. Good understanding of MTS interfaces techniques to send feed files to Bank’s internal applications like POSTING system, Pricing and Billing System, Inquiry Portal, Trade.
- Understanding of MTS accounting interface formats, MPA and MFE.
- Understanding of SQL and data driven tools like Tableau, Jasper would be an added advantage.
