The department is Asset Management. This department is primarily responsible for the management of the operational PBSA properties in Australia, the focus of the department is centred on 4 main objectives, providing our residents an unforgettable journey in our property, budget management, operator management and lastly improving and preserving the value of the property.

Designation and Reporting

The department you will be in is the Asset Management department which is currently split into 2 teams by geographies. Your designation is Associate, Asset Management, and you will report directly to the team head. You will be based in Singapore but are expected to travel to Australia regularly and whenever required. You will be required to work closely with all other departments within the Company as well as our PBSA operator(s) in Australia.

Job description

The Research Officer in Bioinformatics will be instrumental in propelling our research projects forward through expert analysis of single-cell and spatial omics data, along with image analysis and the integration of diverse multi-omics datasets. This role offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of leading immunologists, oncologists, pathologists, and AI scientists. As the Assistant or Lead, App Development, you will have responsibility to provide leadership in the development and management of all the front-end app and web development activities for the company’s digital products, including video, audio and news & entertainment products.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of web, mobile and TV app developers to develop and maintain several video, audio, news and entertainment apps for online, mobile, Smart TV and media player environments
• Collaborate with product managers, UX managers and designers to specify, compile product requirements and build best in class products
• Where development is outsourced, you will manage and work with vendors to define development specifications, manage the development timelines and project plans, and ensure the apps are designed for quality, best performance and user experience
• Develop performance specifications for the front end apps and web environments that are best in class, market competitive and ensure that the development of the apps deliver on these performance specifications
• Employ agile development methodology in product and app development
• Define and enforce processes for software review, unit testing, QA and documentation
• Conduct regular performance benchmarking with competing products and develop enhancement plans to ensure that the company’s digital products are performing competitively with market benchmarks in their respective categories
• Provide leadership in managing product stakeholders, interdepartmental technology collaborations, providing regular feedback, recommendations and managing expectations to deliver positive outcomes, technology innovation and best practices
• Manage the drafting, issuing and running of tenders to select vendors for the above development activities

Requirements

Job Description

· Monitor vessel operations for compliance with the Company’s HSEQ policies and procedures, ensuring that it is effectively implemented on board by means of responding to all HSQE reports within company’s SMS.

· Ensure that practical procedures to meet the HSQE Objectives and Policies are developed, implemented, and revised.

· Ensure fleet vessels compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW and MLC regulations.

· Ensure cargo and ballast procedures are properly implemented on board and verify cargo and/or ballast plans for compliance with all safety aspects.

· Ensure fleet vessels Navigation practices/procedures meets industry standards and maintained through improved navigation practices, equipment, training and procedures.

· Monitoring SIRE Vetting Inspections status of fleet vessels, arrange and coordinate inspections. Response to observation/s until final close-out.

· Responses to deficiencies observed during Port State Control (PSC) and Flag State Control (FSC) inspections.

· Coordinate preparation, approval and maintenance of procedure manuals/plans as required by related international conventions.

· Coordinate registration and take-over or hand-over of vessels.

Requirements

Qualification: Master Mariner with seagoing experience as senior officer on Tanker. Previous shore experience of two years at least similar position. Good Knowledgeable of regulatory, class requirements and international standards. Must be conversant with ISM/MLC/SIRE/CDI and TMSA requirements. Certification for ISM, ISPS & MLC Internal Auditor. Ability to effectively work and communicate within multicultural office and shipboard environments.
