About the Role

The Medical Writer and Analyst positions are ideal for those with experience in scientific research and for enthusiastic recent graduates in the sciences who are seeking the opportunity to be part of a growing team. Medical Writers and Analysts work on projects involving the detailed analysis of data from clinical trials and the assimilation and creative presentation of this analysis in different formats including posters, slide sets, value dossiers, reports and peer-reviewed publications. • Market Access: Market access supports timely patient access to drugs and devices, involving the assessment of clinical efficacy and safety alongside costs to determine the value of a therapy within a specific disease area. Market access activities are targeted at a wide range of stakeholders who are instrumental to the successful funding and uptake of novel therapies, such as government bodies, payers, health technology appraisal (HTA) agencies, HCPs, and patients. Our Market Access team supports a wide range of clients in producing materials to demonstrate both the clinical and economic value of some of the newest, most innovative technologies in development. Our work is multidisciplinary, often beginning with evidence generation in the form of literature reviews, advisory boards with clinicians and payers, or economic modelling, to inform the development of materials that present an evidence-based account of the product’s value in a compelling and accessible manner.
  Analysts working across our Market Access services support a diverse range of value and access, HTA and health economics projects. These include developing product value messages and materials (e.g. brochures, slidesets, white papers, etc.), building health economic tools and models, and developing dossiers for submission to HTA agencies. Our work includes rigorous systematic literature reviews that our Statisticians often use to conduct meta-analyses and network meta-analyses, therefore Analysts in this team work together with our Statisticians to provide seamless scientific and technical support to our clients. We also work on more creative and pragmatic evidence reviews to inform clients’ strategic decisions with regard to clinical development or market access. Job Descriptions:

• Preparation and closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, consolidation reports, analysis, and management reports.
• Prepare and evaluate the financial performance of a company and provide suggestions and recommendations based on the financial reports prepared to improve financial performance
• Responsible for treasury functions such as monitoring of cash balances at each legal entity & processing of payments & receipts.
• Prepare monthly forecast reports and analysis
• Assist in preparation of the yearly Budget
• Liaise with external & internal auditors.
• Work closely with in-house legal team and corporate secretary to ensure timely & accurate preparation & filing of legal documents.
• Participate in multiple projects, and handle ad hoc duties as & when required.

Overview of Desk Quant Analyst Position:

• Maintain and upgrade the codebase and configuration of strategies within the firm’s automated trading framework.
• Manage large datasets used in both research and production environments.
• Perform live as well as historical monitoring of trading activities. For instance, do some post-trade analysis or production reconciliation.
• Work in close collaboration with quant researchers and traders to understand the constantly evolving needs of the trading desks.

Typical Day of Desk Quant Analyst:

• Before market open, check that all required data and related processes are ready for the trading day.
• During market hours, sporadically monitor behavior and performance of strategies.
• Work on various longer-term projects required for expanding our systematic trading activities and ensuring their robustness.

Skill Set Required For Position:

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical subject.
• Programming proficiency with at least one major programming or scripting language (e.g. C++, Java, Python).
• Great attention to details.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with colleagues across multiple regions.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
