The Operations Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of products in a food manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Control:

• Perform routine quality inspections and audits across all stages of the production process, including raw materials, in-process, and finished products.

Collaboration & Communication:

Job Description

• Assist in student and employer queries pertaining to internship matters within stipulated timeline.
• Assist in monitoring student applications and job postings from employers.
• Manage and process students internship enrolment and grade processing.
• Take part in streamlining the current processes and systems to improve the efficiency of the internship procedures.
• Generate Placement letters for students.
• Engage with companies in various industry sectors, in alignment with the needs and strengths of Computing students.

Reporting to Contracts & Compliance (HOD), the C&C Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager is responsible for Contracts Review, Negotiation, and Compliance matters in the Research Division.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and Manage C&C unit

• Track and manage legal agreements, and maintain legal agreement database,
• Facilitate the negotiation and execution of legal agreements,
• Provide support to facilitate the training and guiding of staff on compliance (HBRA & PDPA),
• Act as check points for compliance (HBRA, PDPA) requirements by sighting compliance related approval documentation where necessary,
• Provide guidance to C&C unit junior staff,
• Improve contracts review workflow,
• Coordinate with CTE-CTO and LCDG (other contract teams in NCCS)
• Update and manage C&C policy.

2. Intellectual Property (IP) Management & Revenue

• Coordinate with SingHealth Intellectual Property (SHIP) unit for paperwork involving IP filing
• Track and monitor revenue from commercialised IP agreements.

3. Research Admin

• Broadcasting research related events to the research community on campus; provides administrative support for research events hosted by NCCS,
• Support HBRA and PDPA compliance matters (e.g. broadcast updates to NCCS stakeholders),
• Organise, coordinate and collate Research Metrics Info for submission to Office of Research, SingHealth (translational funding, IP and licensing indicatros)
• Support with KPIs collation for NMRC Centre Grant

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree with a keen interest in contracts review, compliance & governance, and research administration.
• Must possess a flair for writing and a good command of English to handle minutes and draft policy papers/ presentation slides
• Excellent oral and presentation skills for effective communication with PIs, clinicians & peers in other departments
• Must be IT savvy and able to navigate through standard software applications and databases
• Familiar with HBRA and PDPA regulations
• Experience in reviewing contracts
• Must be meticulous and have good organisational skills to create / maintain detailed records.
• Independent worker with a strong sense of initiative

Compliance Executive (Internal Control, Corporate Governance)

The role is expected to support Compliance Deputy General Manager on compliance and internal control matters.

Job responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain compliance policies and procedures, including group procurement policies (including vendor due diligence, human rights management and supplier chain management)
• Design and monitor internal compliance controls to prevent violations of legal rules and internal policies, including undertaking regular reviews and providing practical improvement advice
• Develop and roll out compliance and internal control governance training and promote compliance communications awareness to employees
• Support colleagues in internal control advisory matters and promote internal control awareness
• Conduct research on the latest compliance risk trends and provide consultation to colleagues on ethical or compliance issues
• Maintain Compliance Department website for employees to reference when they have questions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are fulfilled in business processes and systems
• And any other tasks which is required by Deputy General Manager

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, business administration or equivalent
• 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience in risk, compliance & internal control fields
• Experience gained through working in a multi-national organisation involved in Asia-pacific work is advantageous
• Responsible and detail-oriented, excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities are required
• Good team player and is able to handle multi-tasks independently
• Willing to travel to countries in Southeast Asia and Australia at least once every half year
