What you will be doing:

· You will be communicating to the world of shipping in emails

· To board vessels as required and as directed by respective Manager

· Coordination with local vendors

· Ensure proper monitoring of the vessel and attendance to any follow up enquiries

· Come down for the interview or online video interview to learn more on the job requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with vessel's Agent for delivery to vessel and other local warehouse
• Preparation of delivery documents
• Handles data Entry to play the delivery
• Liaise with Warehouse for order picking and cargo readiness
• Assist and liaise with Customers on their Adhoc requirements
• Other ad-hoc duties/tasks assigned by superior
• Knowledge and Experience in Freight is an advantage

Export role

• Prepare and execute Air Waybill, for perishables, general cargo, consolidated shipments, etc using Freight Master
• Prepare export documents (eg cargo acceptance checklist, cargo security certificate, indemnity letter etc) and airline labels
• Ensure all export cargo are properly marked and labelled prior to transfer to airlines
• Give instructions to Drivers/Cargo-hands on the transfer of cargo for export
• Declare Export Cargo Clearance Permit including Certificate of Origin (CO)

Requirements

• At least 1 year relevant experience in freight forwarding
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Team player with good attitude and initiative

• Receive and transfer incoming calls to respective department or staff
• Collate and preparation of purchase orders for Sales & Front Office Operations department
• Collection of payments and issuing receipts to students
• Sales report and settlement of daily accounts
• Retrieve and acknowledge to students' feedbacks and/or complaints timely and escalates to Schools’ Operations office for further actions

Requirements

• Pleasant disposition with good customer service skills
