• Support the implementation and maintenance of end-user controls (EUCs) annually.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of finance operations experience with a relevant finance qualification.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of finance risk management frameworks, including operational risk policies and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.

Role Synopsis:

The Credit and Compliance Manager is a leadership role within BP Sinopec Marine Fuels (BPSM), a joint venture between Sinopec and BP that specializes in bunkering services and cargo trading. The role is responsible for formulating, implementing and operating BPSM’s credit, customer onboarding and compliance policies and procedures. The role holder must balance achieving an appropriate risk/reward return with facilitating profitable and sustainable business growth. The role holder will work closely with the General Manager, CFO, bunker traders and other professionals in support of global growth strategies, providing a risk management lens to decision making.

Key Accountabilities:

Specific accountabilities and attributes include the following:

• Establish and own credit limits and trading tenor limits for counterparties that fall within formally delegated authority working to proactively facilitate commercial growth in a manner with appropriate awareness of associated risks and rewards and of BPSM’s credit risk appetite
• Understand and use of contractual terms, letters of credit, guarantees, lien structures, market instruments, and risk mitigation or similar protections to unlock value and achieve value adding transaction outcomes
• Maintain credit limits and related data within BPSM’s credit systems in an accurate and timely fashion – and monitor ongoing compliance therewith, escalating any concerns
• Selecting appropriate credit insurance coverage, managing claims and optimizing the insurance portfolio to mitigate financial losses
• For distressed counterparties, lead recovery efforts, which may include working closely with the counterparty, its lenders, and its other trade creditors
• Ensure Credit and related policies and procedures are compliant with the Joint Venture, Operating and other agreements in place between the shareholders and BPSM
• Conduct appropriate due diligence on counterparties and service providers, able to anticipate issues and be pro-active in resolving them
• Monitoring and assessing compliance risks by staying updated on evolving trade regulations, sanctions list, and emerging compliance issues in the industry
• Demonstrate a balanced but opportunistic mindset, with control accountabilities always coming first with an ongoing eye for circumstances which may present commercial origination openings for BPSM as well

Essential Experience & Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in a credit risk management in the bunker trading business
• Strong analytical and financial skills – including working with financial models and fluency with credit risk mitigation instruments
• Solid understanding of Singapore and international KYC/AML rules and regulations
• Understanding of international trade regulations, sanctions and export controls
• Innovative mindset which embraces the opportunity to add value by devising new approaches or solutions to overcome business hurdles without sacrificing prudent risk controls

• Review of draft / executed financing documents such as letters of offer / facility agreements & security / mortgage documents, validate draft financing and security documents against approvals, post acceptance documentation checks, preparation of instructions to lawyers / valuers / insurers and etc.
• Perform the daily BAU operations by supporting Business Unit’s post approval documentation processes till redemption / full repayment.
• Perform roles as the facility agent, security agent and/or account bank in syndicated financing. Activities including but not limited to active participation in negotiation of the legal documents, conditions precedent collation, conditions subsequent and covenant tracking, management of facility life cycle and information dissemination.
• Liaise with Business Units and external parties such lawyers / valuers / insurers.
• Perform checks to ensure legal and security documentation are completed, conditions precedent is fulfilled prior to activation of credit facilities, monitoring of conditions subsequent and ensure that the legal and security documents are being custodized.
• In charge of preparing letters / reports, updating of registers and custodians of documents.
• Manage day-to-day business transactions to ensure that the agreed turnaround time with the business is met
• Ensures accuracy, efficiency and meets the agreed turnaround time with the Business Units while minimizing operational risks and losses.

Maintenance and Project Manager- F&B

Working Day: Mon to Fri 8:30 am to 5:30 pm & Sat 8:00 am to 1:00 pm

Location: Woodlands South, van provided

Salary: Basic $5000 with transport and mobile allowance+ AWS + Performance bonus twice a year

About the role:

The role of the Project Manager oversees the planning and all project operations. The role managed the progress of the project and ensures quality and timely delivery. The Project Manager will be required to travel to project sites.

Job scope:

• To lead, motivate and supervise the Project and Maintenance Team.
• Responsible for the overall project planning, cost control and project management
• Conduct site inspection prior to commencement of work
• Handle project tendering stages
• Prepare and manage project schedule to ensure project completion within schedule
• Read detailed drawings, understand construction plan and knowledge of fabrication methods
• To prepare and adhere to the annual budget, including maintenance.
• To create/oversee/support/maintain project schedules and budgets for multiple projects at the same time.
• Liaise closely with designers, contractors and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of project within budget and with good quality
• Ensure all plans/documents to landlords/local authorities are approved prior to commencement of work
• Manage the day-to-day progress of works on site and resolve all contractor/vendor and building facility management coordination issues
• Attend regular site meetings and inspections
• Report on project status and take appropriate actions to ensure project progress is on schedule
• Monitor quality and contractor/vendor performance through supervision, regular inspection and snagging
• Ensure work performed on-site comply with the local authority requirements
• Enforce site safety procedures, identify and manage risks arising from the workplace or work process
• Conduct final verification and quality audit for all completed contractor/vendor’s work
• Conduct and complete progressive final snagging and defects clearance
• Work closely with Ops Team on timely projects handover
• Management of post construction issues with Ops Team, consultants, contractors, vendors and relevant authorities and ensure timely rectification
• To assist in the development and management of strategic plans and program initiatives to meet the goals and needs of the Company.

Requirements:

• NTC / Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture, process engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the food industrial sector, (e.g. foodcourt and coffeeshop project and reinstatement works)
• Proven record in managing and leading a Project/Maintenance Team.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
• Possess Class 3 Driving License
