Job Requirements:

· Eight years of relevant experience.

• Coordinate with the Technical department all plant improvement and modification activities working closely with the Technical Process engineer to prepare detailed
• engineering design, preparing specifications and requisitions for major equipment purchases, reviewing vendors’ documents, conduct hazard analysis, performance tests and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with the Technical department for regular updates of P&ID’s, and instrument list, and equipment list.
• Communicate with the global process improvement team to build synergy for further technical updates of new plant.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, or engineering.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant engineering/production work experience in chemical industry.
• Experience in designing or optimizing the process control system of chemical plants.
• Basic Engineering Skill with utilizing process and instrumentation diagram (P&ID).
• Knowledge of mass and heat balance calculations of chemical plants.
• Demonstrated skill to in leadership, developing others, and working in a team-based environment.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, presentation, interpersonal, creative thinking, consulting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in chemical engineering
• Knowledge and experience in chemical process simulations (e.g. polymerization, other reaction processes, distillation, drying, and so on)
• Technical understanding of polymer extrusion process
• Knowledge of DCS programing and parameter tuning (PID control)
• Experience in lean manufacturing methods (e.g. 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM)
• High proficiency in Excel including VBA, macros, or other related software engineering tools.
• Experience with leading Capex projects
• Experience with Management of Change (MOC), Process safety assessment (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA, QRA, etc.), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

• To ensure that the Contractor co-ordinates the work of various contractors.
• To agree to detailed programmes of work-time chart and representation on site plans.
• To check that all necessary drawings and instruction have been given to contractors and authorization obtained, in accordance with the agreed programme.

• Assist factory on appraisals of engines and technical issues regarding engine performance
• Keep track of Distributor’s sales performance in ensuring expected sales budget is met
• Assist the development of sales activities of Distributors
• Provide support to distributors in the undertaking of projects, including technical support and provide updated information to department manager
• Provide full support in the preparation of sales seminar or any other sales or after-sales related activities or events including sales campaigns, promotions and programs for distributors and end-users

Accounts Payable Function

· Data entry of all invoices into the system

· Consolidating of all suppliers invoices for payment at month end

· Being a key point of contact for other departments on accounting matters

· Document control – to check completeness of documents (Invoices, Delivery Order, Purchase Order, Quotation)

· Compiling, Filing and scanning of documents into server

· Processing of petty cash reimbursement

· Handle General Ledger, Monthly and Year End Closing.

· Assist in the preparation of budgeting

· Prepare monthly reporting and quarterly GST Submission

· Manage audit/tax queries and provide information as required by external auditors and tax agent

· Preparing profits & loss, balance sheets or month-end and year-end closing

Admin Function

· Assist in general admin duties of the company, eg, purchasing of stationery, filling of forms, etc.

· Covering of duties for colleagues who are on leave
