ix) Plan and facilitate EHS training programme to increase safety awareness.

x) Coordinate and work together with all departments, contractors/vendors to advise on all EHS related issues.

xi) Promote zero accident culture in the company to strive group EHS KPI targets.

xii) Ad-hoc matters as assigned which is necessary for the execution of the project.

Job Requirements

i) Bachelor’s degree in engineering or health and safety related disciplines.

ii) Minimum 5-10 years working experience as WSHO for A1 building contractor or EHS management role.

iii) Possess valid MOM registered WSHO, NEA registered ECO and PUB Registered ECMO license.

iv) Good communication skills, team player, good knowledge and understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001, good written and spoken English.

Reporting into the Executive Chef, the Junior Sous Chef is responsible for coordinating, supervising and directing all aspects of the hotel’s food operation. You are expected to provide training, build efficient SOP’s, establish and enforce specs, maintain hygiene and to develop a culture of high performance with a team identity. You are ultimately responsible for strong P&L outcomes while delivering world class dining experiences.

• Maintain the quality of Pastry products. Ensure guest satisfaction goals are achieved and/or exceeded.
• Conduct periodic vendor reviews to ensure favourable terms.
• Ensure non-standard culinary requests are met with regard to special dietary needs of guests.
• Provide support of a specialist nature to the wider hotel team. Consult with relevant department heads regularly and as necessary to ensure strong outcomes of hotelwide initiatives.
• Ensure that standards and procedures are being understood and practiced by all staff. Continuously ideate on workflow efficiencies.
• Guarantee compliance where relevant (hygiene, licensing, employment …etc)
• Identify, onboard, train and develop personnel within the department. Foster healthy and productive team culture. Manage performance and conduct periodic review of department staff.
• Be fully accountable to budget and P&L elements. Responsible for the financial management of the operation
• Set preventative maintenance schedule for all relevant operational equipment.
• Prepare reports to communicate (daily, monthly, quarterly. Etc) performance results to the executive team. Identify opportunities for improved performance and growth.

Job Description

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned properties.
• Source for quotations and liaises with suppliers, vendors and contractors for maintenance and/or improvement works and/or repair works,
• Plan, organize, and oversee appointed term contractors in the maintenance of assigned properties.
• Conduct regular inspections of common areas and follow up with remedial actions.
• Assist to liaise with tenants and/or consultants in the upgrading of the assigned properties when required.
• Handles renewal of term contracts, service vendors and up-keeping of contractual information.
• Handles tenants’ feedbacks.
• Prepares daily updates, weekly monitoring report and monthly management report.
• Performs any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Manager from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Facility Management / Building Services / Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Possess good communication skills and be able to relate to different levels of people.
• Possess Fire Safety Manager Certificate will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3 Year(s) of working experience in facilities or property management.
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, Autocad, Good technical knowledge and experience in Facility Management.
• 5.5 Days Working Week.
• Able to work independently and in a fast paced enviroment.
