• To work together with consultants and subcontractors on the shop drawings, samples, and method statement, and to ensure that everyone involved is informed of any updates.
• To ensure that the site progresses successfully, it is necessary to attend project/technical meetings and work with the owner/consultants to handle site difficulties.
• to confirm that the work performed on the job site complies with the authorized plans, specifications, and authority requirements; additionally, to guarantee that the subcontractor corrects any non-compliance.
• Have weekly M&E meetings with the M&E subcontractors to make sure their tasks are completed in the correct order. Make sure the site supervisors are informed of the work sequence to prevent conflicts between site activities.

Reporting to the CFO and Head of Investments and Investor Relations, this is a newly created head count to support their on-going investment mandates internationally as well as BAU tax compliance matters.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to conduct research to advise management on tax implications of cross-border transactions and/or transfer pricing and planning for tax efficient profit repatriation and assist in tax efficient structuring of acquisitions and divestment of real estate properties.

You will prepare and file ECI, corporate tax returns, and computations to tax authorities, handle and strategize replies to queries from tax authorities, verify tax authorities’ tax assessments and objects to tax assessments (where applicable) and follow through tax issues with outsourced tax consultant.

Requirements

You possess a Degree in Accountancy or ACCA / CPA qualification or equivalent with at least 7 years of relevant experience gained in a Big 4 accounting firm or a large organization with in-house tax function, preferably with exposure to the real estate and hospitality sectors. You can work independently, under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
