Job Descriptions:

• Prepare cost plans to enable design teams to produce practical designs for construction projects, which involves liaising with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Contract administration of secured projects.
• Preparation and submission of progress claims to clients.
• Evaluate and prepare progress payments to subcontractors/suppliers/service providers.
• Maintain constant liaison with client/project staff / sub-contracts and suppliers.
• Monitor records and manage all variation orders.
• Monitor and keep track of project progress and are responsible for measuring and valuing variations in the work during the contract, for agreement of interim payments, and the final account.
• Always ensure confidentiality and safeguards of controlled documents.
• Provide necessary documentation for preparation of final accounts with the client/subcontractors/suppliers / service providers.
• Possess the ability to negotiate with client during final accounts and or as and when any variation order arises.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in LTA project, or similar scale, complexity and nature of work will be advantages.
• Location: Woodlands area

Responsibilities

• Perform AML monitoring/review on Trade post-transaction files.
• Review/investigate Trade manual screening alerts and red flag escalated by trade processing team for potential sanction violations in accordance with SMBC policies.
• Ensure that review and investigation conclusions are adequately and properly documented for regulatory/audit level review.
• Coordinate and/or prepare the required management information reporting data as applicable
• Perform daily name screening alert clearance
• Investigate and report discrepancies and irregularities arising from transactions, system failure, etc and resolve issues including handling stakeholder’s complaints and escalating all issues to Group Head / Deputy Group Head promptly.
• Other tasks as assigned by Group Head / Team Lead
• Regular update of Procedures and Manuals to ensure the group operations is in accordance to SMBC policies, audit comments and in compliance to local as well as related overseas law and regulations
• Contribute in key initiatives and other ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements

• Bachelors degree
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Able to link diverse information to build a full picture and spot inconsistencies
• Possesses knowledge of MAS regulation on AML and Sanctions requirements including KYC, Screening
• Strong team player
• Good communications skills, hands on, independent and proactive in carrying out investigation on customers and/or transactions. Able to work with front office and back office

Duties/Responsibilities:

-Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.

-Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.

-Reviews planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.

-Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.

-Works with the CEO and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.

-Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and market share.

-Identifies opportunities for expansion into new product areas.

-Oversees investment of funds and works with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.

Education and Experience:

-Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
