We seek an individual with tenured commissioning experience in complex technology facilities for the position of  Mechanical Cx Engineer (Cx Eng) at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore (Fortis).  The CxEng is responsible for implementation, monitoring, deployment and conformance to Fortis’ commissioning program guidelines and supporting processes/procedures throughout the organization.  The candidate will work directly with Fortis senior management, our trade partners, equipment vendors, owner, and third-party CX consultants.

The Cx Eng will report to the Commissioning Manager on a specific site and be accountable for implementing and successfully executing Fortis’ corporate commissioning program.

The CxEng is expected to be a very detailed individual with extensive experience commissioning large projects such as industrial plants, data centres, and pharmaceutical plants. The successful CxEng must have excellent Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with construction workers, Fortis’ client, the Fortis management team, and subcontractors of all tiers. 

Responsibilities Specific to the Role:

• Integrate and work as part of a true “One Team” approach on the project, working closely with Fortis co-workers, subcontractors, the owner, and third-party QC and Cx teams.

Overview

The purpose of the Strategic Remediation & Control Office (SRCO) in APAC is to deliver comprehensive governance and oversight of remediation activities while enhancing the quality and efficiency of the Bank’s risk and control environment.

As part of the efforts put by DB to maintain its high standards in terms of Financial Crime prevention, the bank is running several Transaction Monitoring (TM) projects at a global, regional and local level which are aiming to bring significant improvements in the Transaction Monitoring space. Complex and large-scale projects, such as the implementation of Strategic TM and Case Management platforms across the APAC branches of the bank, require adequate oversight and monitoring to ensure a successful delivery.

The Transaction Monitoring project manager within SRCO will need to have strong and solid project and stakeholder management skills to ensure that both Change-The-Bank (CTB) and Run-The-Bank (RTB) TM projects are executed smoothly, in a controlled and audit-proof manner and adhering to the agreed scope and timelines.

The chosen candidate will have to engage with a wide range of stakeholders (3 Lines of Defence and Technology) and proactively anticipate and manage risks and issues which may cause delays and unexpected outcomes along the project life cycle.

Activities to be performed by the TM project manager for achieving success include but are not limited to project planning and execution, budgeting, senior management reporting, coordination and monitoring of remedial activities and establishment of communication channels across relevant stakeholders at a local, regional and global level. SUMMARY
Oversee the control activities across the region and to ensure that our control framework is governing our business operation in a safe and compliant manner.
Identify weaknesses within the organization's IT processes and infrastructures and ensure that proper measures are implemented to minimize such risk. Ensure that an optimised set of business process maps are in place and our internal procedures are promptly updated to reflect the agreed framework.
Work closely with both commercial and functional teams, to provide solutions/ recommendations to improve the controls and drive efficiency through continuous improvement. Proactively look out for any breach of procedure by our staff and potential control gap that could create a material risk to our organisation.
Responsible for collating global Internal Control reporting information that is required by both internal management and external stakeholders.

THE ROLE
Ensure an appropriate and tailored IT risk framework is in place and aligned with the overall IC framework;
Proactively identify IT control gaps and work closely with IT team on the risk mitigations plan and documentation
Conduct reviews on the privilege ID usage, ETRM and Finance systems’ user access rights to ensure adherence to access controls standards
Provide support on IT risk and control type of initiatives, including new system implementation and significant system change projects to ensure that proper controls are considered and included at the design-phase
Ensure an optimised set of business process maps is in place and aligned with the system controls;

REQUIREMENTS
