Requirements:

Experience of using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws and nail guns
Joinery and cabinet making skills
Knowledge of building regulations and codes to be adhered to

Able to work for long hours

Job Description

• Design and Development: Develop electrical and instrumentation control designs for water treatment plants and related facilities.
  Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
• Project Management: Manage and oversee electrical and instrumentation aspects of water treatment construction projects.
  Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
• Installation and Commissioning: Supervise the installation of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  Conduct commissioning and testing of control systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing maintenance support for electrical and instrumentation systems.
  Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electrical and instrumentation work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent accidents and hazards.
  

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Control and Instrumentation, or a related field.
• At least 5 years experience with water and wastewater treatment projects is advantageous.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as NORSOK, NEK, PSA, IEC, and BS, including expertise in hazardous areas classification.
• Willingness to travel internationally (Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia etc)

Job description:

• Prepare M & E co-ordinator drawing and M&E submissions
• Assist project manager to coordinate sub-contract works
• Review and align M&E design and project drawings to ensure compliance with specification and guidelines
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, project team and ect on project progress
• Liaise with consultants to solve technical problems
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management

Job requirements:

• Minimum diploma in Building M&E or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years relevant local experience
• Good team player with ability to lead and multi-task
• Able to work independently
