Arcadis|DPS Advanced Process Manufacturing is seeking a Construction Coordinator with a solid background in construction support to join our growing teams in Singapore. The Construction Coordinator will supervise and coordinate the activities for the tools under their ownership. The CC’s will report to the Project Manager and will take responsibility for implementation of the plans developed by the Project Manager. TI Construction Coordinator (“CC”) is focal point of all trade activities for the respective Tool install area. The Construction Coordinator (“CC”) will work directly with our client to ensure successful delivery of all applicable tool install scope.

Job Scope:

Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

• Review Design Packages at all stages of process - look for known past issues and ensure design is constructible.
• Be compliant with the Clients agreed documentation control systems.
• Work with Safety Officers and Contractors to ensure solutions are in place on high-risk tasks

· To establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

· To maintain and reconcile cash / financial accounts

· GST Filing & Filing of Income Tax

· To complete and coordinate annual audits and provide recommendations for improving procedures and systems for initiating corrective actions

· To organize, compile, update and renewal of company licenses

· To manage HR functions such as payrolls, update employee benefits, employment status such as new hires, terminations, sick leaves, warnings, vacations and days off

· Processing of Work Pass Applications / Cancellations / Transfers (Work Permit, S Pass and E Pass)

· Monthly CPF contribution and submission

· To upkeep workers training and certificate renewal

· Other ad-hoc duties when assigned

· Prepares and submit shop drawings / As Built Drawings.

· Attend all coordination meeting regards to technical issues.

· To support Marketing, QS / Project Departments in technical enquiries.

· Able to manage the process from sample submission, production such as cutting list or fabrication drawings etc.

· Able to manage & liaise with sub-contractors, Main-contractors and client’s engineers.

· Project filing or drawings in Soft Copy and Hard Copy is required

· Create any freehand drawings / sketches to initiate preliminary drawings, including of cutting list

· Studies and examines drawings and specification of tender requirement.

· To attend on going site meeting and liaise with contractors, suppliers and clients to meet the requirements of the ongoing tender/project works

· To oversee the design department and give support to junior drafter

· Any other tasks assigned by superior

Job Responsibilities

• Overseeing, monitoring, and managing the progress of construction projects.
• Attend all the site coordination meeting and liaise with main contractor/ Architect / Consultant including solving of technical problems, submission of drawings, etc.
• Ensure quality of work is achieved and timely completion of work as committed with main contractor and compliances to Authorities’ requirements.
• Review the project documentation including drawings, specifications and schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Ensuring the safety of construction sites by making safety inspections and enforcing safety guidelines and protocols.
• Employ the required number of competent workers for a project after reaching an agreement with the client.
• Check and verify the cutting list prior to issue to factory for the fabrication.
• To work closely with our Design and QS teams regarding the contract / variation order before proceeding the work and to ensure the monthly progress claim submit on time.
• Any other ad-hoc duty assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Bachelor Degree or equivalent in related field.
• Good communication skills: The manager need to be able to communicate clearly with workers, clients, and managements to avoid information wrongly understood
• Ability to solve problem: The manager must be able to resolve issues with his/her workers on the site and get all parties satisfied, and to work together for the interest of the company
• Possess the ability to motivate workers on site especially when the work is challenging, and the pressure is high on workers to deliver
• Must be a team leader: The manager must have a great deal of team leadership skills to be able to keep the workers focused on the job and to increase their efficiency to deliver the project within the deadline given
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, since he or she must convey information to main contractors, clients, architects, engineers, and staff.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in metal works industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing project-related inquiries and feedback. Work closely with residents, consultants, and authorities to proactively address concerns and mitigate complaints from construction activities.
• Plan and implement public relations strategies to ensure clear communication and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Respond to and resolve public requests and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
• Lead the development of internal and external publications, ensuring timely and accurate communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with contractors and implement measures to minimize and address public complaints related to construction activities.
• Keep up-to-date, well-organized records and ensure quick retrieval when necessary.
• Assist with administrative tasks and handle other ad-hoc responsibilities as required.

Job Requirements:

• Compulsory to have Bachelor/Diploma in public relations, administrative or business related
• At least 5 years' of relevant working experience
• Proficient in computer and MS Office application
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Good command of English and Chinese.
