• Conduct daily site inspection and supervision of site works, ground improvement, ERSS, deep excavation, bored tunnelling works, tunnel internal structure construction and Adit/Cross Passage construction.
• Supervision work on a TBM machine controlling the tunnel labour in excavation and ring build
• Maintain site records of excavated volumes, grouting records and other construction work.
• Plan and monitor and track site progress, manpower mobilization and equipment deployment
• Ensure job safety analysis and site safety compliance
• Coordinate various subcontractors to ensure work runs smoothly
• Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes, minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities.
• Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site
• Liaise with authorities, consultants and subcontractors.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 8 years’ experience in handling Tunneling projects
• knowledge in operate EPB TBM system with CREG machine, Terratec machine, Herrenknecht Machine, TBM SELI Technologies machine and Slurry TBM system with TBM Hitachi Machine
• Must be able to work under Compress Air for Cutterhead intervention works
• Knowledge in Autocad and able to use Autocad to draw drawings.
• Able to do shift work (12hours)

Job Description

General Duties:

· To interact with identified students on a regular basis over a prolonged duration (approximately 11 months) and provide positive mentoring and counselling support for students.

· To connect with identified students, build positive relationships and contribute to the holistic development of the students.

· To plan and conduct intervention programmes, including house visits where necessary, customised to students’ needs and aligned to the school’s efforts in character development.

· To observe and identify some of the key needs of the students and to report such cases to the Student Management Key Personnel/ School Leaders for further intervention/ support.

· To attend case review/ case management meetings with relevant school personnel to provide feedback on students’ needs, programme experience and concerns, so that the school can better support the students.

· To conduct themselves professionally in their interactions with the students and school personnel and working with the Student Management and Student Development teams in supporting the students.

· To practise the areas of responsibilities and behaviour during all of his or her school engagements as listed in Annex C – Expectations of Instructor.

Others Duties:

· Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the school.

Requirements

· Youth Workers shall be registered with the Ministry of Education.

· Youth Workers are required to be registered Social Workers in Singapore or be supervised by a registered Social Worker and have experience or training in fields related to social and emotional learning.

· A tertiary qualification in counselling/psychology/social work, or relevant experience and expertise.

· All Youth Workers should be able to engage and motivate the students in acquiring knowledge and skills via hands-on approach and be skilled in facilitation.

· He/ she should have a passion and disposition for working with at-risk students and their families, and a positive belief in their potential.

· All Youth Workers should be able to handle the tasks and responsibilities assigned.

· All Instructors should preferably at least 3 years of working experience. Relevant experience in the social service sector, working with and supporting at-risk students and families.

· All Instructors should provide a list of current and past training conducted for similar programmes from 1 Jan 2021 to the closing date of this quotation.

Working hours

· 4 days a week, 9am-5:45pm, inclusive of 45 minutes lunch break. Exact days to be confirmed with Head of Department, Student Management.

· 8 hours per session.

· Total: 32 hours per week.

· Minimum training sessions required for the contract period: 180 sessions.

· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

· There may be extension of working hours due to exigencies of service.

· The school reserves the right to stipulate the work hours when required and subjected to mutual agreement by both parties.
