About NETS

The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain.

Overall Function

Group Audit is an independent function within NETS Group that provides an objective assurance and risk advisory role. The primary purpose of the role is to provide an independent and objective audit service to NETS Group based on a systematic risk-based approach to ensure key risks in the organization are identified, recommended controls / action plans discussed, agreed and reported to senior management in a timely manner.

Group Audit reports directly to the NETS Group Board on all audit related matters. The Board is assisted by the Audit and Risk Management Committee (ARMC) in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities for the financial reporting, internal control, risk management system, compliance framework and the audit process.

Key Responsibilities

• The Audit Manager conducts and where required supervises the audit to ensure NETS meets its financial, operational and compliance objectives from planning to report finalization and participates in issue follow-up
• Works closely with the Data Analytics team and business units in the implementation of continuous auditing/monitoring

Audit Planning

• In Audit Lead capacity, sets the overall audit objective, scope and approach. Prepare and draft the audit planning memorandum
• Establish audit work programs to effectively evaluate business and operational processes, based on best practices and regulatory requirements
• Participate in business process analysis, assessment of risks and evaluation of control design
• Identify possible areas feasible for the use of data analytic tools for more complete testing

Audit Fieldwork

• Lead and ensure adequate supervision over the execution of audit fieldwork to ensure proper evaluation of the design and effectiveness of the key controls and assessment of residual risk
• Monitor the audit progress and perform review on the work performed by team members
• Guide and coach junior team members
• Ensure stakeholders are kept informed of the audit progress and issues arising

Audit Reporting

• Discuss, agree and ensure factual accuracy of audit issues with relevant management
• Provide practical recommendations (based on industry best practices, regulatory requirements) on mitigating actions on the identified risks
• Responsible for accurate, quality and timely reporting
• Prepare and draft final audit report

Audit Issue Follow-up

• Ensures audit issue follow-up is adequately and timely performed and documented

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or equivalent, preferably with CIA and CAMS qualification
• Minimum 6 years of external/internal audit experience, preferably with AML expertise
• Sound knowledge of internal control concepts and auditing techniques
• High level of integrity, drive and sense of urgency

To provide IT professional SAP Basis for Venture group companies and Support day-to-day system operations. Responsible for system configuration, administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting SAP environment. Provide technical support and leadership for SAP systems, which can include implementing standards and requirements, overseeing upgrades, establishing processes for monitoring performance, and system configuration, design, and application.

• Ensuring 24/7 SAP system availability.
• Responsible for Managing User/Client Administration, Authorization Management, System Performance Management, Audit Management, Transport Management System, Background Job, Patches installation, System Backup & Recovery, Kernel Upgrade, OS & Database Maintenance for Venture Group wide.
• Responsible to manage SAP Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery.

Marketing Manager – Roles & Responsibilities

1. Crystallise marketing execution strategies to realise the company’s business plan.

· Presenting such plans, budgets, forecasts and estimates to the Board and Management for approval

· Reconciling significant variances vs budgets or plans, comparing vs previous years, and highlighting significant variances and critical issues to the Treasurer, Audit Subcommittee and Exco

Corporate Governance

· Ensuring compliance with the Charities Act, Charities (IPC) Regulations, Societies Act, Code of Governance for Charities & IPCs, Charities Transparency Framework and any other applicable laws, regulations, notices or guidelines

· Timely compliance with all filing and reporting obligations under applicable laws and regulations, including filing of its Annual Returns and Governance Evaluation Checklist

Fundraising Monitoring

Provide support with respect to:

· Administering cash collection processes (e.g. cash-over-counter; donation boxes; pledge bags and street collections), including ensuring that the Company’s KYC and AML processes are complied with (where applicable)

· Ensuring donor information confidentiality and ensuring compliance with all donor requests with respect to specific use of funds (to the extent approved by the CEO and Board)

· Monitoring and following up on donation pledges or commitments, and collections from fundraising activities (including by way of maintaining a catalogue of fundraising MOUs)

· Monitoring compliance with Collection of donor information Maintaining a register of all contracts, agreements and MOUs entered into by the Company, and monitoring all obligations owed by the Company or owing to the Company, including monitoring and following up on donation pledges or commitments, and collections from fundraising activities

General Matters

· Support the CEO and colleagues, when called upon, to ensure success of the Company’s events and activities

· Perform any other duties tasked by the CEO for the benefit of the Company.

- Accountancy degree with a minimum of 6 years experience in accounting for IPC/charity organisations
