Responsibilities:
· Project Management on all company projects in M&E services design, cost, technical and authority matters.
· Supervise and provide guidance to M&E Project Engineers & Inspector of Works.
· Manage sub-con/in work in progress planning and meet pre-agreed timeline.
· Assess M&E contractors progressive and variation order claims.
· Review M&E feasibility studies and cost plan from design stage to tender stage.
· Review consultants’ design for compliance of company design requirements on various type of buildings.
· Value engineering on design proposals to optimise the cost and to ensure best practices are applied in the projects.
· Keeping track on variation and claims of contract and cost impact, report information to Senior Project Manager & General Manager.
· Work with QAQC Engineer to ensure quality performance of project to meet client requirements.
· Monitoring M&E services variation works and costs during construction stage to ensure within budget.
· Attend client consultant meeting & involve in pre-tender estimation and tender process for award of Contractors.
· Attend meeting with authorities & site coordination between Consultants and Contractors.
Requirements:
· At least 10 years of working experience in building and construction projects locally.
· Minimum of 4 years relevant experience working with government projects will be an advantage.
· Minimum Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Able to lead teams, work across different levels of clients and managing vendors.
· Positive attitude and able to work independently.
