Senior Accounts Executive – Finance & Corporate Administration Group
Pre-requisite:
i) Degree in Economics, ACCA, or equivalent
ii) At least 3 to 5 years of accounting / financial and mangement reporting experience in Construction/Oil & Gas/Energy industry
iii) Effective interpersonal and communication skills
iv) Strong organizational skills
v) Self-motivated and enthusiastic with requisite personal drive and energy
vi) Good social skills and a team player
vii) Strong Excel knownledge
viii) Knowledge in ERP system and Xero accounting software
ix) Detail oriented, Meticoulous and Responsible
x) Ability to work underpressure & independently.
xi) Strong time management and organisation skills.
xii) Strong sense of responsibility to complete tasks within deadline.
xiii) Task oriented, conscientious in documentation.
Responsibilities:
a) Handle and maintain Account Receivable & Payable.
b) Responsible for billing and payment transactions.
c) Able to perform accurate data entry
d) Liaise with internal/external stakeholder to resolve the payment issues
e) Check all supporting documents and prepare payment.
f) Reconcile of Supplier SOA, and accounting transactions.
g) Reconcile bank and General ledgers.
h) Ensure accurate and timely month end closing.
i) Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns.
j) Responsible for the overall upkeep of financial records
k) Submit monthly, quarterly payment forecast
l) Assist in day-to-day administration and clerical duties, including general corporate administrative duties
m) Ensure & maintain proper filing system in department
n) Assist in budgeting, forecasting and other management report
o) Assist in Audit, Tax and any other ad-hoc for management reporting
p) Assist in budgeting, forecasting and other management report
q) Analyze General Ledger and Prepare of Journal Voucher
r) Strong knowledge in Revenue and Cost Recognition in Construction/Oil & Energy Industry
s) Reconciliation of bank, general ledgers and intercompany balances
t) Prepare Monthly Audit Schedules (Accrual, Prepaid, WIP, FA)
u) Quarterly GST preparation & submission and reconcile GST report.
v) Maintain fixed assets register-new purchase & disposal.
w) Assist in the preparation of consolidation financial statements, forecasting and budgeting
x) Assist in the preparation of financial, management and compliance reporting
y) Any other ad-hoc finance & corporate administrative duties as assigned
