About The Role

Kerry Consulting is partnering with a leading financial institution to identify a skilled and experience KYC Client Onboarding Specialist to join the Singapore team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to the dynamic Global Banking and Markets Sector.

Responsibilities:

As a KYC Client Onboarding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and procedures. You will execute the end-to-end onboarding processes, perform risk assessments, KYC, AML/ATF sanctions, documentation, and screenings. In addition, you will also collaborate with cross functional teams on various projects and initiatives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should come with a Bachelor’s Degree and prior working experience in Compliance, Corporate Banking, and knowledge in due diligence. In dept knowledge of the relevant regulatory frameworks, requirements and industry best practices would be ideal. You should have good command of both written and spoken Mandarin and English due to the stakeholders involved. Someone who is organised, efficient and have high attention to detail and accuracy is preferred as well.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage an end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, month-end closing and reporting.
• Process AP invoices by verifying and matching with purchase orders (PO), delivery orders (DO), and goods receipts.
• Communicate with vendors to address inquiries, and perform supplier statement reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy, proper coding, and approval of invoices and expenses claims by managers.
• Ensure completeness of balance sheet schedules, including reconciliation of GRIR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt) and PAC (Purchase Account Clearing) clearing accounts during each closing.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in invoices and GRIR with different business owners
• Prepare journal vouchers for accruals and ensure timely capture of expenses in each closing
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, prepare audit schedules, and ensure compliance with SOX and statutory requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Accounting / Finance / ACCA / or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) or similar functions
• Knowledge in using ERP (SAP) system
• Able to commit for 4-months

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the overall execution of events, including planning, coordination, and execution.
• Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and sponsors to ensure all their needs are met, managing the day-of event operations.
• Ensure that all events meet the client's expectations and budget.
• Maintain accurate records of all event activities and expenses.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
• Manage any issue that may arise during the event, including resolving conflicts amongst individuals and managing crisis situations.

• At least two years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in an event management or hospitality industry. Fresh graudates are welcome.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Service oriented with an eye for details.
• Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
• Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively.
