The Job:

• Provide weekend onsite support during classes to faculty and students, including but not limited to:
  • Preparation of teaching materials for faculty, including stationery and clickers
  • Managing technical setup and providing support for online/hybrid classes
  • Managing catering setup and disposal for all breaks and lunches
  • Ensuring that the classroom is clean after breaks and at end of day
  • Simple troubleshooting for IT/AV equipment

Key Qualifications and Competencies

• Minimum Diploma
• Some experience in operations support would be useful
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint

The Procurement Executive is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:-

1. Source provision products from warehouse stock or purchase from the local market based on JIT(just in time) procurement and client requirements
2. Identify out-of-stock provision products and procure/supply similar items
3. Place, process, and track orders based on stock variability and JIT procurement
4. Liaise with shippers, forwarders and warehouse to coordinate/monitor shipments
5. Manage expiring items effectively to minimize costs and waste
6. Replenish stock at competitive prices to optimize cost efficiency
7. Familiar with SCINT and Microsoft D365
8. Ensure all activities adhere to the company's quality, health, safety & environment (QHSE), and Ethics & Compliance policies
9. Perform any other duties as requested by the Procurement Manager and team leader

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

• Processing of Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Action events spanning global markets and all products covering Singapore and Hong Kong booking centres
• Ensure daily activities are conducted professionally and accurately while ensuring that internal guidelines and policies are followed

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

Client Management (internal & external)

• Coordinates with internal departments and external sub custodians, custodians, agents & brokers to ensure that daily work meets organizational standards
• Monitor the queries received and provide responses or holding replies within a reasonable timeframe.

Business Management

• Review daily inward/outward swift messages pertaining to Corporate Actions
• Processing & Reconciling positions and subsequently the entitlements due from Corporate Actions related transaction
• Monitor confirmation of entitlement and ensure entries posted on accurate and timely basis
• Perform daily review on reconciliation breaks for all activity with timely follow up and resolution
• Perform review on daily reconciliation before market deadlines in order to mitigate any possible operation risk of missing/incomplete processing of voluntary events resulting to possible operation loss
• Participate in User-Acceptance-Testing when required

Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management

• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Work with the relevant teams in fulfilment of regulatory requirements.

• Candidate with relevant experience in Corporate Actions and Settlements SWIFT messages, (MT56x/54x) knowledge will be an advantage
• Knowledge of handling US restricted securities, tax related reporting/reclaim would be an advantage
• Knowledge of handling Bond Restructuring, filling of claim for defaulted instruments would be an advantage
