As general manager, you will oversee your local office, and be responsible for the overall performance of that team.

You will thus have some involvement in all aspects of the business. You will work with clients; manage your team and address internal issues; liaise with Omnicom stakeholders; and play a role in new business too.

You will line manage the most senior members of the account management team. BW Group is seeking an SOX Manager to join our SOX Team with the responsibility to design and implement SOX controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley ("SOX") regulations. Your primary focus will be on understanding end-to-end business processes and controls, including identifying control design gaps and testing operating effectiveness of controls. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure internal controls are effectively designed and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit or SOX compliance with a SEC registrant within the maritime industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, direct and lead SOX compliance efforts including annual risk assessment and scoping exercise, assessment of controls design, controls effectiveness validation, timely tracking on gap remediation according to the relevant framework surrounding the ICFR (e.g. COSO, PCAOB, SEC guidelines, etc)
