EV-Electric (EVE) Charging Pte Ltd is a subsidiary of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore (LTA), which coordinates the national effort to undertake the electrical infrastructure upgrades and deployment of electric vehicles charging points (EVCPs) primarily in Singapore’s residential carparks.
As a Project Manager, infrastructure, you will lead the project execution of the electrical infrastructure upgrade (including substations, consumer switch rooms) for power provision to EV chargers.
Job Responsibilities include but is not limited to the following:
- Manage electrical infrastructure upgrade work and related activities including tender, evaluation, construction, and post-completion activities. This includes supervising contractor work and project progress to ensure overall work progress is on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with partner agencies and stakeholders to facilitate smooth upgrade process, ensuring work activities are integrated and de-conflicted for smooth implementation.
- Manage team dynamics and morale, in terms of their day-to-day operations as well as their career development.
- Maintain compensation and performance management systems to retain quality manpower and exit poor performers.
This role requires a multi-faceted approach to problem solving and flexibility given the broad project scope and ad hoc prioritization needs. You are required to make decisions on a day-to-day operational matter concerning the project. For substantive impact to project schedule matters, you will contribute recommendations towards final decision-making.
Requirements
· Tertiary education in Electrical or Civil Engineering background
· Positive mindset and team leader
· Proactive attitude, resourceful, and excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal team members and external stakeholders.
· Strong work ethic
· Manage time effectively under tight deadlines.
· At least 10 years of relevant working experience or able to demonstrate leadership capability and track record in project management of electrical infrastructure upgrade.
· Competent in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) matters and able to comply with the Project Management duties under the WSH Act and the supplementary regulations.
· Construction Safety Course for Project Managers, CSCPM certification or equivalent will be an advantage
