Responsibilities:

• Create clear and attainable project plan, objectives and build project requirements

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Lead and supervise a team specialized in On Site Recovery (OSR) operations, with a focus on insitu machining and repair services in the maritime sector.

• Provide technical guidance and support to ensure safe and efficient execution of onsite machining projects.

Project Execution and Management:

• Plan, organize, and oversee onsite machining projects including crankpin machining, line-boring, and surface machining.

• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Tooling and Equipment Management:

• Manage a specialized inventory of tools and equipment required for insitu machining works.

• Coordinate maintenance, calibration, and readiness of tools to support onsite repair activities.

Technical Solutions Development:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their onsite repair needs and develop tailored technical solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
• Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers in a position to understand service requirements.
• Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedule.
• Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel.
• Determines improvements by analysing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
• Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
• Complies with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, and anticipating future legislation.
• To ensure the maintenance programs and rectification jobs are managed by a team of technical officers and technicians efficiently.
• To ensure all works carried out safely and/or in accordance with safety procedures.
• Any other tasks assigned by leader.

Qualification:

- Minimum Diploma in engineering.

- Able to guide and troubleshoot ACMV faults.

- Good communication skills both verbal and written.

- SG Class 3 Driving License preferred.

- Familiarity with office software and phone systems.

- Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.

- SG Class 3 Driving License preferred.
