The position is within the Capital Markets IT (CMI) division which manages information systems for capital markets activities which includes Front Office (FO) booking platforms, Risk Management (RM) control and regulatory reporting systems, financial product and contract valuation systems, and much more.

CMI teams are mainly located in Paris, London, New-York, Hong-Kong, India and Singapore. Current position is based out of Singapore and successful candidate will be able to work in an international context with distributed engineering teams striving for highest quality architecture and design.

The Data Framework provides a central data store for all the Front Office Orders, RFQs, Transactions and Collateral information. It also provides Market Data sourcing, Data distribution, client, instrument and referential data and is driven by an electronic Data Dictionary application : Collibra.It acts as a source of data for different regulatory reportings (MIFID 2 , SFTR , MAR etc). The Data Framework team is looking for a development expert on big data technologies to evolve the platform to ingest market data, RFQ (Cross Asset) and distribute data via APIs. The project milestones are ambitious and challenging. The position is ideal for someone with a strong interest in data processing and data science.

Main responsibilities

• Able to conceptualize, propose technical design.
• Contributing to development of high quality fully tested source code complying with deadlines, schedule and coding standards.

Order Entry and Logistics Coordinator

Summary:

Candidate will be responsible for the triage and processing of Service Orders. These Service Orders are related to the coordination of new equipment installations for commercial vessels that have global sailing patterns.

Job Description

The Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (LKCNHM) was established in 2015, but its collection of natural history specimens spans more than two centuries, and continues to increase. Apart from physical specimens, it manages a growing collection of digital resources including images, publications, and other types of digital records which are necessary for research and education. We are seeking a dynamic and suitably qualified individual to lead in, suggest solutions and implement systems/strategies to manage this growing digital footprint and to work with LKCNHM subject specialists to curate and archive the large amount of scientific and other data, and information generated through research on biodiversity in Southeast Asia. The individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring that scientific data and information is managed in such a way that allows easy and smooth access to users, thus supporting the advancement of research and education.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following -

1) Scope and develop a platform to serve as a biodiversity information gateway for Singapore biodiversity information.
2) Assist with all museum-wide aspects of information and data relating to the collections: organizing information, storage, preservation and use of data on the collections
3) Relate and link various databases and other digital resources that come under LKCNHM to be accessible through the biodiversity information gateway.
4) Curate and/or organise the digital collections at LKCNHM, including new genomic, imaging, specimen, collection and other data that will continuously be generated.
5) Specific duties include:

• Setting up and managing core digital platforms/facilities within the LKCNHM.
• Maintaining the biodiversity information gateway for public delivery of data (for use by researchers, educators or interest groups for example).
• Managing and enhancing the integrity and accuracy of the digital collection information systems, including the collection database, and other digital records.
• Working with museum staff to improve specimen metadata, such as through photography, geo-referencing, and linking with host specimen records; and to support the on-line presence of the collection, contributing to the LKCNHM website.
• Facilitating data contribution to national and international data repositories.
• Managing data storage and preservation, including local servers and cloud services, and maintaining an appropriate back-up strategy.

“Run the bank” is the first mission of IT department. It involves many front line IT professionals who understand the nature of business operations, timing of activities & data flowing through internal and external systems.They are continuously working with business users, infrastructure engineer and system managers.

The candidate will join the Singapore Capital Market Run the bank team in charge of running application for capital market from Front-Office (Murex, Apex, Orchestrade…), Back-Office (Summit, Calypso…) and Market data referential (Asset Control..), Market Risk applications (in-house application on big data technologies).

It is a great first position to onboard in a IT banking domain, with many fundamental learning of what is the Information System of an investment bank. It provide step by step learning, starting from Level 1 support, then moving to level 2 and finally being part of the continuous improvement ande evolution of new application and process optimization.

Main Responsibilities

Application monitoring responsibilities

• Define and implement in coordination with the build team the needed application monitoring
• Supervise and monitor daily and monthly chains and handle user request by working closely with project, infrastructure and production teams
• Support overnight batches which take place during the Singapore Morning and early afternoon time to ensure that problems are swiftly analyzed and resolved to minimize down-time.
• Process and issue daily, weekly and monthly reporting on data quality of risk chain in which the activity is usually more intense on monthly run.
• Maintain programmable code outlined in technical instructions and specifications for software applications.

Incidents and Requests management (business users and others IT teams)

• Provide level 1 and level 2 application support to the business users (trader, risk manager, market risk monitoring operator, back-office and middle-office analyst, market data administrator,…)
• Analyze and manage incidents/problems/requests coming

Problem management and continuous improvement

• Prepare and maintain knowledge base for each of the application in the scope of the team in coordination with the build team and the ops team
• Collaborate with build team to assess the priority of the problem and follow-up the resolution, even contributing to the definition of long term solution.
• Provide non-functional requirement to the build team to implement monitoring as code whenever available.

The Support analyst should have a pro-active mindset in security, incident preventive measures, productivity and global improvement of the quality of service.

Qualifications and Profile

Mandatory

• Candidates should have 8+ years experience in support activity.
• Candidates should have ITIL knowledge.
• Experience in Software development or Devops team.
• SLA & KPI management, client communication & interaction
• Predictive analysis, consulting, escalation management
• Risk analysis and project execution
• Appetite for continuous improvement, out of the box solution and automation mindset
• Strong knowledge in XML, SQL, PL/SQL, MQ Series, CFT and Control-M.
• Knowledge of monitoring solution (E.g ITRS Geneos)
• At least 3-year experience with Jenkins, GIT (GitLab)
• At least 1-year experience in Ansible
• Shell scripting, Perl Scripting (not mandatory)
• Unix Batch creation

Good to have

• Experience with Docker/Kurbernetes
• Experience with Liquibase or equivalent
• General banking and finance understanding and knowledge
• Understanding of trade life cycle, financial products (Treasury, FX, Bonds, Credit, IRD…)
• Exposure to Capital Market FO/BO system (E.g. Summit, Kondor+, Murex…)

Shift Timings:

• Person will have to work in shifts as support is requiring 24/6 Support.
• (00:00~9:00) (7:00 ~16:00) (15:00 ~1:00next day)
