TikTok’s data scientist team is a critical component of the platform’s success, responsible for leveraging data to enhance user experience, optimize content delivery, and drive business decisions. Job Description

- Conduct data analysis in LIVE related business, including watching experience, creator ecosystem, agency management, algorithm improvement and etc..

- Design metrics framework to measure product healthiness, keep tracking of core metrics and understand root causes of metric movements.

- Conduct scientific evaluation with statistical methods, including A/B testing and casual inference.

- Identify growth opportunities with data analytics, and drive business decisions. Work with PM/MLE/RD to deliver product and strategy improvement.

- Research data science theories and methodology, improve analysis efficiency and data product tools.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related work experience.

- Expertise in SQL and programming in Python or R.

- Familiar with A/B testing

- Strong analytical and causal reasoning mindset, and rigidity on statistical correctness. Strong communication and passion about product challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

Located on Jurong Island, the petrochemical hub of Singapore, SRC operates a refinery that is capable of processing 290,000 barrels of crude oil per day to produce fuel products and chemical feedstocks that are supplied to domestic markets and overseas export markets under the brand labels of its shareholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Selected candidate will be engaged under a third-party agency payroll for the tenure of employment in SRC. 2-year contract (with possibility for contract renewal).

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update database in Asset Management System and Excel.
• Organize and manage data for easy retrieval and analysis, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop dashboards in Power BI to enhance asset management.
• Compile and attach reports from various sources.
• Provide general clerical support, including filing, copying, and scanning documents.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary information.
• Handle correspondence and communication related to technical tasks.

• Diploma related to IT / Engineering is required.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a clerical or administrative role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
• Basic knowledge of report generation and document management.

• Identify and measure success of product efforts through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring of key product metrics to understand trends.

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform, influence, support, and execute product strategy and investment decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in quantitative analysis (minimum of 1 years with a Ph.D.).
• Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R).
• A minimum of 2 years experience leading product analytics and influencing product roadmap
• A minimum of 2 years experience designing and running A/B tests
• Experience understanding ecosystems, user behaviors and long-term product trends
• Core statistical knowledge
• Proven experience leading data-driven projects from definition to execution: defining metrics, experiment design, communicating actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters or Ph.D. Degree in a quantitative field.
