Job Role

• To assist the Head of Home is responsible for the overall management of the Home’s operational needs and complying with the regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Home in ensuring the operational needs of the Home is running smoothly.
• Preparation and submission of relevant reports (ie; status report, weekly staff and residents’ movement, minutes of meeting and monthly duty roster)
• Check the daily occurrence and visitors book
• Perform daily inspection of the dormitories and the residents
• Ensure programmes are maintained by the welfare officers and nursing aides

Requirements

To plan, teach, train, supervise, maintain and develop members to function adequately and independently in the areas of Activities of Daily Living, Community Living, Social and Recreational Skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, coordinate, and implement planned daily programme and its activities
• Daily supervision, assisting and monitoring members in the various activities both outside or within the centre, and ensuring safety of all members and volunteers

PERTAPIS CENTRE FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS provides residential care for young women victim of abuse, coming from dysfunctional families or in conflict with the law. The centre offers shelter, care and protection to 100 women from 14 to 21 years old. We run a variety of programs to facilitate self development, confidence building & life skills development.

Job Description

• Ensure that the young persons comply with the Centre’s Rules and Regulations
• Assist in ensuring the safe custody of young persons under the Centre’s care
• Guide and motivate residents to a higher level of behavioural performance and development
• Ensure that all records, documents and correspondence are updated promptly and filed accordingly
• Ensure that security measures are adequate in the Centre (e.g. conduct periodic round checks around the premise)

Job Summary

The Jobholder leads the Team’s efforts in engaging primary- and secondary-age students and providing education assistance. The job holder (2 years contract) is responsible for strategising and conceptualising plans and programmes to engage the Team’s target audience through the various District Officers (DOs). The job holder facilitates the operationalisation of the organisation's products, namely the MENDAKI Tuition Scheme and other academic support interventions and services by liaising with all relevant stakeholders. The job holder will be required to facilitate and manage resources in support of the MTS including the Tutor's management and development assist with the creation of the desired learning environment and work closely with the Curriculum Team in the review of the curriculum from primary to secondary education. The incumbent is expected to work from between 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and may be required to work over weekends and public holidays to support the DOs. Although the jobholder is largely expected to work in an indoor environment, he/she is also expected to travel frequently for meetings.
