Engineering of focused polarisation structures can be achieved, for example, through wavefront shaping and polarisation control of incident beams. Illumination of proteins or other small bioparticles with such superoscillatory polarisation structured light offers opportunities in detection of conformational changes or nano-displacements which can observed with high sensitivity in polarisation space, even though there is no observable variation in the intensity domain. In this project we seek to determine optimal polarisation structures and determine expected sensitivity through analytic and computational means. Viability of experimental detection will be assessed and potentially pursued.

We are currently searching for a QA/QC Manager & NDT Level-III for our company .

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies to ensure that products and services meet the required quality standards.

2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality control processes.

3. Manage and oversee the NDT activities, including the supervision of NDT technicians, ensuring that all testing is performed accurately and in accordance with industry standards.

4. Review and analyze test results, identify any deviations or non-conformities, and take appropriate corrective actions to address them.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to resolve quality-related issues and implement preventive measures.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

2. Certified NDT Level-III in at least two NDT methods (e.g., ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, magnetic particle testing).

3. Proven experience in quality control management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

4. Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, NDT techniques, and industry standards (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM).

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address quality-related issues effectively.

1. Facilities and Building Project Coordination and Management

• Manage the tender process (drafting of tender specification, participate in tender evaluation and recommendation etc)
• Participate in project oversight and follow up
• Handover of project document and commissioning etc

2. Building/Facilities Maintenance and Management

• Manage and maintain the building and facilities in TLL such as biological research labs with various support facilities (e.g cell culture room, walk-in environmental chamber and cold room, Bio-containment lab, clinical GMP facilities etc)
• Manage and attend to breakdown call. Liaise with equipment/building maintenance vendor for maintenance and rectification works etc
• Develop and fine-tuning of facilities maintenance framework. This includes the management of resources, costing, documentation etc

3. Facilities/Engineering Performance Inspection and Validation

• Liaise with inspector (QP. LEW etc) for inspection works such as PE licensing, lift, facilities certification, BCA, SCDF as required by the regulatory authority

4. Any other adhoc duty as required

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Degree in Building Management, Building Engineering, Science, Bioscience, Life Science or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in facilities and building management of a biological environment such as biological research laboratory, clinical lab, hospital, GMP facilities or bio-containment facilities
• Good fundamental knowledge or experiences in managing biological laboratory facilities such as walk-in cold room, environmental chamber, scientific equipment and clinical facilities. Candidate with experience in managing GMP facilities or bio-containment would be an added advantage
• Experience in managing at least three medium scale projects (above S$100,000) on facilities or building renovation/upgrading works. Scope should include participated in tender processing, project coordination and management etc
• Good writing, communication and people skill
• Meticulous and systematic
• Able to multitask
