Work you will do
Deloitte Government & Public Services is committed to improving public outcomes through a focus on people. At Deloitte we think about the complex issues facing the public sector and develop relevant, timely, and sustainable solutions for our clients.
This role sits within the industry-leading cloud professionals will enable our public sector client’s end-to-end journey from on premise legacy systems to the cloud, from design through deployment, and leading to a transformed organisation primed for growth.
You’ll work alongside our clients to help them achieve success in the Cloud, with reference to the following areas:
· Create a strategy for how their organisations can exploit the Cloud, create a business case, design a Cloud architecture and put in place governance and policies to manage the new world.
· Architect the migration approach. Think about which of their existing on-premise applications to migrate to the Cloud, which applications should be re-built using Cloud native technologies and which should be bought from Cloud SaaS providers.
· Re-imagine ways of working. Engage the entire businesses to re-imagine the way work gets done and how new products and services are brought to market, all enabled by Cloud technologies.
· Innovate in delivery. Embrace new agile ways of working, enabled by new Cloud tools, to deliver your Cloud solutions.
· Integrate. Consider how to integrate the Cloud into t heir enterprise through infrastructure and networking solutions to connect, optimise, and manage Cloud solutions across a wide choice of platforms.
· Managed services. Ensure their use of the Cloud is secure, resilient, compliant, cost effective, and properly service managed, consider the use of a Cloud Managed Service Provider.

Enough about us, let's talk about you
If you are someone with:
· Tertiary qualification in a technology or engineering discipline with a well ranked institution and/or currently enrolled in a MBA program.
· Minimum 8 years of professional experience in cloud transformation with leading managing consulting firms.
· Ability to lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large organisations, preferably in public sector.
· Experience in developing and presenting proposals for business development activities
· Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources.
· Exceptional interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience.
· Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings.
· Commitment to professional excellence, as well as personal and professional growth.
· Drive, tenacity, client focused and results oriented.
· An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a prerequisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
· Willingness to work outside of office base.
