We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable full-time Postdoctoral Fellow to work on a project about assessing the impact of digital information resilience, funded by the Ministry of Education AcRF Tier 3 grant. The contract is renewable up to 3 years

The successful candidate will assist the funded research project entitled “Digital Information Resilience: Restoring Trust and Nudging Behaviours in Digitalisation”. The candidate will work with an interdisciplinary team of scholars based in Singapore to advance research and knowledge on digital information resilience. The project aims to identify and measure digital information resilience for digital readiness, inclusion and safety based on an original indicator framework.

The successful candidate will assist to develop new indicators for measuring digital information resilience. They will conduct interviews, facilitate focus groups, develop and implement surveys, and code the data-sets using qualitative and quantitative research methods. They will also be required to support project management, research admin and deliverables such as reports/journal articles, workshops and webinars.

Qualifications

• At least a PhD or equivalent in the Social Sciences/Humanities, and demonstrated research experience in communications and media studies, including digital media policy and regulation.
• An interest and knowledge in digital wellbeing, information resilience, digital inequality/divide, and new media will be a bonus.
• Good project management, communications management, data administration skills
• Research experience in qualitative research (e.g. interview, focus groups) desirable
• Strong research skills, experience in using (or willingness to learn) qualitative data analysis software (NVivo)
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Strong ability to perform editing work on manuscripts
• Organizational skills for workshops and webinars
• Ability to create, maintain a project website and social media
• Ability to write for a variety of audiences
• An aptitude for working in an interdisciplinary team environment

Your major responsibilities as a HR Master Data Specialist/HCM – HR IT will be maintaining the entry & exit of employee via SAP system (PH1). Responsible for the following module via SAP HCM (PH1).

Minor points:

Update employee records, as well as manage various HR documents and internal databases, such as holiday and leave administration. You will act as the first port of call to our employees for all HR related queries. As a priority, HR administrators will handle the full spectrum of HR operations activities. Core responsibilities include employee documentation, contracts, letters, payroll administration, recruitment & onboarding & starter packs etc. A good understanding and knowledge of employment law and ensuring the HR department conforms to these is key. Job Description

The Experimental Marine Ecology Laboratory (EMEL) within the Department of Biological Sciences at the National University of Singapore is seeking to appoint two Research Assistants to work on a major new project “Shore Protection with Integrated Nature-based Solutions—Eco (SPINS-Eco)”. This interdisciplinary research aims to determine the optimal conditions for mangrove, seagrass, coral, and macroalgal establishment and growth within hybrid coastal protection systems in Singapore.

The main responsibilities of the position include:
• Assist in designing and executing protocols to quantify biophysical conditions of both modified and natural tropical coastal habitats
• Carry out intertidal and subtidal biodiversity surveys
• Conduct growth and stress experiments
• Coordinate with sister projects: “SPINS-Hydro” and “SPINS-Meta”
• Prepare research manuscripts, reports, and presentations
• Assist in administrative work to support the project

Qualifications

Applicants should have completed a bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marine biology, ecology, geography, environmental studies, or other similar discipline. We may also consider applicants with degrees in engineering, architecture, or landscape design. The candidates should have strong passion for marine-related research. Research skills including species identification, statistical analysis, writing abilities, as well as the capacity to work within a diverse group of ecologists and marine scientists, are desirable. Candidates with experience in hybrid shorelines, ecological engineering, and related nature-based solutions will be given priority.

Qualifications:
