The Hwei-Ee Tan lab studies the fundamental biological basis of “gut-feelings”, how bacteria in the gut signals to the host to influence physiology and behaviour. Using mice as a mammalian model, the lab investigates how diet and microbiome factors modulates host phenotypes (e.g. food reward, anxiety behaviours, etc). Besides supporting curiosity-driven basic research on the gut-brain axis, his lab is also studying the brain-gut axis, to uncover host-microbe interactions. OPERATIONS & ADMIN EXECUTIVE

What You Will Do

· Assist in the administration of submission of BCA approvals & site permits

· Assist in the scheduling and planning of the workforce

· Keeping track of inventory & ordering supplies

· Assist in managing the maintenance of office & facility equipment

· Providing administrative support to other departments or projects as needed

Your Experience Counts

· Preferably 2 years+ experience as an Operations & Admin Executive or similar position

· Strong organisational & administrative skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Management Software

· Detail oriented

· Ability to multitask

· Familiar with administration in construction or railway engineering setup

1. Assist in acquiring new customers and selling additional products to existing ones through identifying new sales leads, pitching products and/or services and maintain fruitful relationships with existing customers.
2. Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives.
3. Provide reports and feedback to management on market visit and keep abreast of the latest market developments.
4. Provide support in Sales & Marketing administrative works, follow up closely on outstanding contracts, follow up on payments, coordinate with internal stakeholders for contract/order executions.
5. Assist seniors in trade processing, customer servicing.
6. Assist on preparation of marketing collaterals & trade shows.
7. Other ad-hoc business development and operation assignments.

Requirements:

1. Tertiary education
2. At least 2 years of Sales & Marketing experience
3. Willing to business travel.
4. Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
5. Creativity and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
7. Attention to details and good organization/prioritization skills.

Responsibilites:

• Manage sales growth of key retail accounts and monitoring the accounts’ performance.
• Maintain strong and good working relationships with existing customers.
• Liaise with supermarket personnel for best product display space and rental during promotion periods.
• Achieve / exceed monthly sales targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the visibility and performance of our products on various channels.
• Conduct frequent market visits to outlets and analyzing trends in market dynamics.
• Expand clientele base and key accounts through networking, cold calling, and social media channels to drive sales revenue.
• Develop and implement innovative market penetration strategies and new launch promotions.
• Manage merchandisers and promoters on their job performance.
• Assist to resolve any issues or complaints from customers, outlets or merchandisers / promoters.
• In-depth understanding of the Company’s range of products and services
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Marketing / Business Administration
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in F&B or FMCG industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e.g. excel, powerpoint.
• A dynamic and highly motivated individual with ability to multi-task effectively
• Customer oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full scope of shipping operations, including contract management and documentation.
• Oversee order processing and invoice generation for both local and international customers.
• Prepare and handle complete shipping documentation for efficient turnaround, shipment processing, contract allocation, and vessel nomination.
• Coordinate shipments with suppliers, buyers, shipbrokers, ship owners/agents, surveyors, insurers, etc., ensuring smooth loading and delivery.
• Liaise with banks for opening Letters of Credit, clean negotiations, and collection documentation.
• Track shipping claims, demurrage/despatch, receivables, payables, and aged client accounts.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (Commercial, Risk, Global Offices, Finance, Accounts, Pricing, Chartering, etc.) to identify and address execution risks in advance.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues related to shipment execution.
• Adhere to company SOPs to ensure seamless operations.
• Handle additional shipping or operational tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business or a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics and operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, diligent, and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Manne & Co is a live-streaming station that is looking to grow in the realm of content creation and develop marketing strategies that will effectively attract new fans and customers. As a forward-looking company, we adopt state-of-the-art technology in our live streams where customers can experience novel formats of online shopping.

In this role, you will be required to partake in the conceptualisation, planning and management of the company's social media assets. This will include design, scripting, assisting in on ground shoots to post production of reels that aim to promote, engage and drive new traffic. Looking into post insights and analysing statistics is also crucial for the team's regular reviews. Being a Marketing Executive also plays a pivotal role in the live roster, where new ideas are always needed to promote products that the company curates and takes pride in.

Job Scope

• Assisting with the conceptualisation, curation and production of digital marketing collaterals – graphic, photography, videography.

• Producing online live-selling sessions of various consumer products.

• Co-management of the marketing content calendar.

• Provide ideas to build the company’s digital presence and engagement with its audience.

• Identify market trends and analyse with team to gain insights for better marketing strategies.

• ⁠ Manage selected social media accounts.

Job Requirement

• At least 1-2 years prior experience in related field.

• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects (Basic-Intermediate).

• Familiar with Canva and its use primarily for graphic designs.

• Video editing with Capcut or similar content creation tools.

• Background knowledge in OBS or similar livestreaming tools.

• Ability to understand and navigate through the management of different social networking platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and Telegram).

• ⁠Keen learner in new live streaming set up and equipment.
