• Draft, review, negotiate and arrange for signing of Non-Disclosure Agreement for all new partners and Letter of Confirmation or equivalent where required.
• Work closely with Claims & Risk team on Master Service Agreements and Third-Party Administration Service Agreements for Claims Management services
• Prepare Terms of Business Agreements with Reinsurers, Brokers, etc.
• Draft and review Addendum to agreements in accordance with the commercial terms agreed by the parties.
• Prepare forms required by Reinsurer for every new deal
• Coordinate with Reinsurer for legal due diligence confirmation
• Review signed agreements for circulation to the relevant stakeholders
• Administer and maintain records of legal documents
• Conduct ad-hoc simple legal research where required

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Law, Legal Studies or related field
• 2 years of relevant working experience in similar role, preferably in reinsurance or insurance sector
• Knowledge of contract administration
• Excellent written communication skills with attention to details
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Team player with good Interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly ethical, discreet, and able to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Assist Department Head to achieve the underwriting profit budget set by the Company
• Evaluate, underwrite and quote risks for commercial classes in line with Company’s underwriting guidelines
• Place / Assist facultative reinsurance and ensure contract certainty documentation is fulfilled
• Prepare insurance summaries, renewal invite and actively pursue renewable business to achieve high persistency targets
• Ensure premiums are collected within premium warranty framework
• Issue cover notes, certificates of insurance, instructions for issuance of policies and preparation of monthly business reports
• Undertake any other assignments as allocated

Requirements

• Minimally Diploma in any discipline
• Possession of Certificate in General Insurance will be an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to put customers at the core of the business
• Ability to work well in a team

• Acquire and implement marketing activities to bring in new customers and service existing customer relationships.
