JOB OVERVIEW

Reporting to Director of Sales/ Assistant Director of Sales, the Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, developing and managing accounts within specific segments, markets or geographical territories.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the corporate travel industry/leisure
• Generating and maximizing business potential of designated portfolio through daily sales calls, telephone calls, effective account servicing, site inspection and entertainment
• Prepare correspondence to customers and internal booking reports, and maintain sales files
• Manage and maintain business relationship with existing and new clientele base to achieve customer satisfaction; ensure external and internal customers are satisfied with our services
• Participate and coordinate promotional and trade shows or any other assignment

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree, preferable in Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing
• System proficiency in MS Office

Experience:

• Minimum of 2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in a hotel capacity
• Relevant room sales experience in the hospitality industry with proven sales track record preferred

Personal qualities & attributes:

• Matured, self-motivated, dynamic, meticulous and result oriented individual
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong network preferred
• Possess strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Effectively bilingual
• Must be able and willing to travel overseas

Responsibilities :

• To plan strategies to consistently drive sales volume and distribution to meet or exceed volume targets and brand distribution targets set.
• To lead in the deployment and execution of the business plans with Distributors.
• To manage existing and new business opportunities and responsible for the sales volume and distribution of all products distributed by the Company.
• To manage subordinates to achieve the expected results and to handle subordinate grievances.
• To manage product sell-out profitability, forecast sales, monitor inventory levels, budget spending efficiency, seller development, distributor collection on time and etc.
• Preparing written presentations, reports, and price quotations.
• Achieve Customer Service objectives by developing strategic plans, preparing and implementing action plans.
• Handle and manage Customer enquiries on products – specification, price, availability, delivery and others.
• Attend to Customers’ enquiries in professional manner as accordance to our service standard.
• To disseminate accurate information to Customers and to ensure Customers' complaints are attended to in accordance to our service standard.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train the team members in accordance to the service standards, ensure suggestive selling techniques are performed by all team members
• Assist in development of the wine list and ability to pair and suggest wine to guest and decanting of the wine
