This role will play a pivotal part in establishing a robust controllership function to drive breakthrough results.

Position Overview:

The APAC Finance Controller will play a critical role in driving breakthrough results for Shark Ninja’s APAC operations by establishing a strong controllership team across the region. This role will encompass all accounting & operational finance matters across intercompany and operating business units across Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, and other markets as the business expands. This role will encompass end to end contollership across General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Tax compliance, Audit responsibilities, Statutory and Management Reporting. This is a regional role, and will need close coordination with the operational businesses, regional and local FP&A, regional tax & treasury, and group/ local auditors.

Core Responsibilities

• Build and lead a strong accounting & operational finance team, fostering a culture of operational excellence and innovation.
• Oversee AP, AR, Tax Compliance, Cash Management, Statutory & Management Reporting, to ensure high quality & efficient operations.
• Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team, ensuring effective coordination across markets.

System and Process Improvement

• Lead Finance IT system interventions to consolidate ERP systems regionally, enhancing efficiency and scalability.
• Continuously explore and implement IT solutions to automate and streamline core finance processes.

Working Capital Management

• Establish KPUs and drive Working Capital Performance in partnership with senior leadership and commercial teams.
• Streamline data reporting to enable focus on data analysis & insights, contributing to results-driven decision making.

Audit and Financial Compliance

• Manage relationships with group and local auditors, ensuring timely and smooth execution of statutory requirements.
• Deliver accurate and high-quality financial statements to support seamless audits.

Strategic Initiatives

• Represent the accounting & operational finance team in key projects, ensuring right-first time set-up for market expansions and compliance-related projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years financial and cost management in the APAC region, with a preference for experience in FMCG, Retail, or consumer goods.
• Proven leadership in managing and developing high-performing finance teams across diverse geographies.
• Strong knowledge of statutory reporting requirements for listed companies and IFRS. Big 4 audit experience with CPA or equivalent is preferred.
• Solid ERP experience especially Oracle Cloud ERP, and a track record of driving system and process improvements through technology.
• Excellent communication skills, with business proficiency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Hands-on and adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a strategic mindset and organizational leadership skills.

Position Summary

This is a full-time Compliance Analyst position based in Singapore. We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven professional to collaborate with our Head of Compliance and manage the entire compliance process. As a Compliance Generalist, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve conducting counterparty due diligence, performing on-chain analysis, screening, transaction reviews, supporting audits, reporting suspicious transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in counterparty onboarding, act as a single point of contact to communicate and resolve all queries related to onboarding matters.
• Ability to resolve and negotiate blockers with counterparty. Work with technology team to improve workflow and processes.
• Responsible for full spectrum of KYC & AML duties, including Due Diligence checks on new counterparties and periodic review on existing relationships

Brief Description:

• To provide in a safe and ethical manner, the technical expertise and non-routine problem-solving capabilities needed to support the analytical and testing requirements of the RON, MON and CETANE engine.

Responsibilities:

• To operate the three engines according to standard procedures following fit-for-use conditions.
• To carry out daily checks on engine conditions, water coolant with K2Cr2O7 added, lube-oil level and refrigerator unit water temperature.
• To ensure TSF close to the sample results are checked for each run and recorded.
• To ensure thermometers, burettes are calibrated (with QA assistance) at regular intervals and records kept.
• To carries out top overhaul when due and record activities when spare parts change and running hours.
• To record parts changed and nature of problem after each repair by AmSpec staff or by vendor.
• To check and maintain optimum spare parts for the engines, reference fuels, TEL and gases.
• To carry out safety checks daily and routinely to ensure waste fuel and tested samples in the room are minimal, and pressure gauges are not leaking, the fire extinguisher is functional and has sufficient gas pressure at all times.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:
