Financial Policies for Ventures:

• Build financial policies, guidelines, and protocols for Menyala's ventures, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Assist in setting the overall strategy and day-to-day operations for Ventures.

Operating Metrics for Ventures:

• Monitor key metrics like cash flow, working capital, inventory turnover, etc., for Menyala's Ventures.

Support for Ventures:

• Assist the executive team and Venture CEOs in day-to-day operations (finance/Tax perspectives).

Financial Information Systems for Ventures:

• Design, set up, and manage accounting tools and systems for Menyala's Ventures.

Specialist Business Advice:

• Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of financial policies and procedures.

• Supervises a team of three staff.
• Review and ensure transaction postings, such as addition, disposal, transfer, write-off, exchange and journal entries, compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting standards (FRS) & Institutions Finance Group policies.
• Monitor Assets under Construction / FA clearing open items schedule, ensuring staff have performed follow-up actions and post asset capitalisation timely.
• Monthly, review fixed asset, deferred income and right-of-use audit schedules by the timeline agreed with PHIs.
• Review fixed asset verification returns ensuring staff have completed necessary follow-up actions and report to PHIs’ Finance upon closure.
• Liaise with internal / external stakeholders and auditors on Fixed Asset related matters
• Provide staff training; give performance feedback and coaching to staff to achieve corporate KPIs.
• Review work processes to improve efficiency and to strengthen internal control procedures
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Accounting & Finance with at least 1-year experience in a supervisory position
• Experience in SAP is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Independent, self-driven and meticulous.
• Customer-service oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Description

• Provide reliable financial/controlling information towards the management.
• Lead all forecasting processes (Strategic Plan, Budget, periodic forecast, …)
• Manage reporting process ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and no-delay compliance in Plant & Engineering controlling under the divisions
• Provide all necessary consolidated controlling analysis including variance analysis, budgetary control, projects and programs monitoring in ASEAN area
• Collaborate with group company financial team in ASEAN Area, obtaining/providing/validating proper finance information
• Control and manage the site’s operating cash flow (capex, working capital)
• Provide all necessary information requested by internal and external auditors

Requirement

• Degree in related disciplines
• At least 5 years relevant experience
