Responsibilities:

• Oversee and review the work done by the finance team, performing variance analysis and providing insightful commentaries.
• Support business unit managers with necessary financial reports and analysis to enhance profitability and efficiency.
• Manage corporate taxation, review tax computations, and liaise with tax agents to ensure timely and accurate filings.
• Handle tax-related submissions, including COR, withholding tax, and ad-hoc requests.
• Manage daily cash positions and monthly cash flows to assess liquidity and ensure proper funding for ongoing operations and capital investments.
• Oversee treasury matters, including monitoring global currency markets, managing banking and forex activities, fixed deposit placements, and analyzing banking transaction fees for cost reductions.
• Maintain external relationships with bankers, corporate secretaries, outsourced vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in establishing procedures and internal controls, continuously reviewing and improving work processes for efficiency.
• Develop and maintain an efficient system of policies and procedures to control treasury activities and support regulatory reporting.
• Undertake other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirement

• Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accountancy.
• Min. 5 years of working experience in a related field, including supervisory experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of Singapore Income Tax and cross-border International Tax.
• Extensive experience in treasury management, including surplus fund management, foreign exchange control and hedging, group cash optimization, cash pooling, and treasury management systems implementation.
• Independent, self-driven, with excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Microsoft D365 and Hyperion systems is an advantage.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
