ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assist Senior Finance Manager in areas of planning and managing, accounting and financial

functions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full spectrum of accounting & financial functions.

• Review closing activities and reporting.

• Oversee and provide guidance to accounting team in operational financial matters.

• Familiar with project closing, percentage of completion method, WIP movement.

• Provide analysis to management and business units to make informed decisions aimed.

• Review of audit schedules and liaison with external auditors.

• Responsible for annual budgets, planning & analysis of reports.

• Assist corporate tax and GST compliance, handle government incentive scheme and

statistics surveys and statutory matters.

• Support and undertake ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance/Accounting or Professional Accounting Qualification

e.g. CA, ACCA, CIMA.

• At least 3 years relevant working experience in the same capacity.

• Proficient in Excel skills.

• Proficient in SAP will be an added advantage.

• Meticulous and keen eye for details; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Committed, confident personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work within tight timelines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Handle full sets of accounts including reconciliations, payroll, cash flow, month/year end closing, GST and year-end audit schedules for clients.
• Preparation of financial reports and tax (If required)
• Able to work in teams and support the Managers/Team Heads in meeting targets.
• Attend and facilitate (as appropriate) all status meetings, client meetings and client calls.
• Able to communicate effectively with departments and clients to ensure a timely completion of work.
• Other accounting duties or assignments.

ESSENTIAL QUALITIES

• Degree in Accountancy/ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent
• At least 1-3 years of accounting experience, including experience in the related fields
• Meticulous and good analytical skills
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• IT Savvy and knowledge of accounting software required
• Can work independently with minimum supervision
• Results driven

Job Description

• Review and evaluate personal banking credit facility applications submitted by the various business units, including but not limited to credit cards, housing loans, premium financing loans etc. Ensure that credit applications submitted are in line with the Bank's credit guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Approve personal banking credit facility applications within delegated approval authority. Review and submit for higher level approval if necessary.
• Contribute to the Bank's review and revision of various credit policies and procedures, and assist in the risk review of various business initiatives.
• Perform loan portfolio monitoring and reviews, identify risk areas and propose mitigating measures to discuss with business departments.
• Participate in user requirements gathering and system enhancement projects, as well as User Acceptance Testing.
• Complete other assigned works by the department.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor degree or above (finance, economics or related majors), familiar with personal banking credit products and relevant regulatory requirements.
• 3 years’ experience of credit analysis on personal banking products is preferred
• Strong credit risk analysis and data analysis abilities.
• Possess strong communication skills and demonstrate responsibility and ability to work in teams.
• Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese so as to communicate with Chinese-Speaking counterparts in head office.

Job Description & Requirements

• Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Take responsibility for the day-to-day processing of all purchase invoices for a portfolio of companies ensuring that invoices are checked and prices are correct and that any discrepancies are investigated and dealt with appropriately
• Ensure that invoices are authorised for payment by relevant department or project managers and matched to purchase orders where applicable
• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Ensure that invoices are recorded and entered into the ACCPACC system using the appropriate account codes and that payments are posted on the system appropriately
• Follow authorisation of invoices organise payment runs, scanning invoices and preparing cheques for mailing
• Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
• Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
• Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (GST, etc.)
