About Hospital Management Asia (HMA)

The Role
In this unique role, you will be the “front-face” for all conference delegates. You will sell attendee tickets as part of your key KPI. This role will require an understanding of content, basic industry knowledge of the healthcare sector and direct selling skills to acquire paying attendees to the event.
This is your chance to take ownership of a campaign to drive attendance to the event and make a major strategic contribution to the team.
If you are a fresh graduate from university looking to move into a sales role, this is the perfect opportunity for you to gain experience in event management, specifically in selling/managing delegate attendance, arranging meetings and providing excellent customer service.

Job specifications
- To sell delegate tickets to attend the conference
- To co-ordinate and manage meetings for sponsors and exhibitors
- To secure high-level attendees for workshops, private luncheons, roundtables and online webinars
- To provide sponsors and attendees with a truly great experience pre and during the conference and to provide a fantastic service element to the networking process
Key Requirements
- Diploma or degree qualified
- Great attitude to learning
- Previous delegate sales experience is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident in speaking with C-level executives
- Not afraid of cold calling via phone and making new connections
- Strong relationship building, stakeholder management and social media skills to ensure customer satisfaction
- Performance driven, possessing exceptional interpersonal qualities and able to work alone (self-motivate) and in a team
- Dependable – takes responsibility for own actions, keeps commitments
- Able to work with tight deadlines, manage time and balance tasks
