Specific Duties:

1. Marketing and Visual Merchandising:

• Ensure Retail Marketing plans are executed seasonally – aligned with brand marketing plans
• Work in accordance with Regional and Local VM standards and execute the look-and-feel of the store as pre-agreed

2. Store Visits:

• Ensure store visits are done consistently and take corrective measures if needed for business growth
• Prepare store visit checklist reports for weekly review with the Retail / Store Operations Manager

3. Expenses Control:

• Prepare and monitor revenue and expenditure in the retail stores/outlets to ensure attainment of profit objectives

4. Leadership - Proposing Decisions and Actions:

• Develop a team of Store Managers / Trainee Managers capable of executing store sales & marketing strategies and meeting financial objectives
• Build succession plan through effective hiring, development, training and staff retention program.
• Support and guide direct reports in solving cross-functions and people-related issues
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned

The General Manager is responsible for the P and L delivery of the business, covering operations accross the APAC region. • Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements

• Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports

Job Description:

• Ensure the quality of all construction work performed on site are in accordance with the company's QAQC requirement.
• Visit project sites, arrange and conduct QAQC inspections on mainly Structural Works and Architectural Works.
• Assist project teams in the preparation of project specific CONQUAS/Quality Management assessment by BCA with specific contract requirements.
• Ensure workmanship, procedures and method statements are in accordance to specified standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements & proper sequence of work and in accordance to BCA’s good industry practice.
• Ensure that all project quality records and quality audit plans are maintained.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement preferably I construction/ civil engineering industry.
• Candidates with experience in LTA projects would be preferred.
• Must be familiar with safety procedure within the site
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Have experiences in working in large scale projects.
• 6 Days work per week.
• Location: Tampines.

• Analyse upstream contract terms and identify possible risks and opportunities related to the application of contract clauses.
• To compute quotations from specialists/sub-contractors, prepare competitive comparison for cost committee prior for negotiation and award contracts.
• To join the procurement team on complex contracts and negotiation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
• Support negotiation of contract terms and assessment of contract proposals
• Draft, review and issue contracts and agreements (between customers and the company, with Sub-Contractors and Suppliers)

Commercial & Contracts:

• Prepare Extension of Time and prolongation costs claims with the aid of external consultants.
• Involve and advise requests for equitable adjustment, contract disputes and contract claim with client/consultants and subcontractors with the aid of external consultants.
• Consolidate the report to the management on defence against claims, disputes or conflicts and contractual non-compliance issues during monthly reporting.

Your main responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing Process related activities:
