Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the relevant Telco’s and parties for the implementation of Singapore Sports Hub, Kallang Football Hub (KFH), and Kallang Tennis Hub (KTH).
The Project Manager will work closely with Technology & Data team in alignment with business stakeholders. Requires working within scheduling constraints to deliver the project on time and safely.
This is a contract position reports to the Head of ICT (Tech) Operations in the Technology and Data unit. The Project Manager will work closely with Telco’s, Vendors, and internal departments within company to ensure smooth implementation and transition.
Job Scope:
· Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Create a roadmap that outlines the critical path and dependencies for successful project execution.
· Resource Management: Identify and allocate the necessary resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to ensure the project's successful completion.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and communicate with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, vendors, and regulatory bodies. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the project's lifecycle.
· Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges that may arise during the project and develop strategies to mitigate them. Regularly assess and update risk management plans to address any emerging issues.
· Quality Control: Set quality standards for project deliverables and ensure that they are met throughout the project. Implement quality control measures to identify and rectify any deviations from the set standards.
· Budget Management: Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring that expenses are within approved limits. Monitor project costs and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
· Project Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor project progress and compare it to the established project plan. Generate regular status reports for stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, milestones, risks, and any necessary adjustments to the plan.
· Change Management: Address and manage any changes or deviations from the original project plan. Evaluate change requests and determine their impact on the project scope, timeline, and budget.
· Vendor Management: If applicable, coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors involved in the project. Ensure that vendors deliver as per agreed-upon terms and contracts.
· Documentation and Records Management: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, project schedules, and any other relevant records.
· Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the project team, providing clear direction, guidance, and support. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment to optimize performance.
· Project Closure: Ensure a smooth project closure, including obtaining formal acceptance of project deliverables from stakeholders, conducting lessons learned sessions, and creating final project reports.
· Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that the project complies with all relevant industry standards, legal requirements, and regulations.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field such as Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related discipline is preferred.
· Project Management Certification: A recognized project management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2.
· Candidates with more experience may be appointed at Senior Manager level.
· Industry Experience: Prior experience managing similar projects will provide valuable insights into the challenges and requirements of the field.
· Technical Knowledge: A strong technical background is essential, encompassing a solid understanding of technology, wireless networking, network architecture, and related infrastructure.
· Technical Documentation: Skill in creating and interpreting technical documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and project reports.
· Telecommunications and Networking: A comprehensive understanding of telecommunications and networking concepts, including knowledge of 5G technology, wireless protocols, network architecture, IP routing, and subnetting.
· Wireless Infrastructure Deployment: Knowledge of deploying and managing wireless infrastructure, including access points, routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
· Network Security: Familiarity with network security protocols and best practices to protect data and ensure the integrity of the 5G and public WiFi networks.
Working Arrangement:
Mon to Fri: 830am – 6pm
Salary:
The level of appointment will depend on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
Entitled to one-month completion bonus with min. performance ‘meet’ rating
