• Lead the process and mechanical team for process plant EPC project, including design, engineering, supporting procurement & installation, and testing & commissioning works
• Review tender specifications and meticulously evaluate vendor proposals for process mechanical equipment, propose suitable equipment brands for tender submission and procurement, prepare cost estimations for process mechanical work during the tender stage
• Provide support during the procurement, contract negotiation, and progress claim processes throughout project execution

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor degree in Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years’ proven experience in process/mechanical design of process plant (incineration plant, water/wastewater plant, etc.), at least 2 years’ experience in leadership or team lead role. Experience in the Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) wastewater treatment system is an advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and Singapore codes of practice.
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
• Proficiency in using commonly used software applications such as MS Office.
• Familiarity with Naviswork and Bentley View Software for P&ID is considered an added advantage.

Key accountability (Main purpose of this job):

Responsibilities

• Ensure matching procedure is in place for payments processing purposes
• Resolve all invoices discrepancies and respond to enquiries on payment status
• Monitor and prioritize invoices for urgent payments
• Ensure proper and timely settlement of all invoices from vendors.
• Ensure all fully paid invoices/documents are clearly marked as paid and filed in an orderly manner within the accounting system.
• In charge of month end posting for all payment entries
• Perform bank reconciliation after passing adjustment journal entry in system cash book
• Assist in preparation of audit schedules
• Compile all the Import clearance permits for GST filing purposes
• Filling and keeping proper records of the payment documents
• Process staff claim
• Confirm and record all intercompany transactions and balances with the subsidiaries in the group accurately
• Train new staff in the AP process and operation flow
• Carrying out of ad-hoc tasks assigned
• Assist the Finance Manager and team in any ad hoc requirements or projects
• Assist in yearly stock take

Job Requirements

• Minimum a Higher Nitec/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• 2-3 year of experience in Accounts payable
• Able to read, write and communicate in English
• Good in Microsoft Office

Job Description

• Purchase of marine materials and equipment for Vessel, independently executing the corresponding administrative tasks.
• Responsible for the analysis of purchase orders /requests, price quotes and delivery deadlines surveys, vendor negotiation, analysis and approval of budgets, preparation, and placement of purchase orders and/or contracts.
• Follow up on the Purchase Orders status, in compliance with company guidelines.
• Negotiate with suppliers on deadlines, conditions and reschedule of supply and delivery.
• Prepare and submit status reports of purchase orders.
• Approve and/or recommend the most suitable suppliers to meet company needs.
• Develops and maintains a commercially sound vendor base, surveys the market for new supply sources including non-traditional suppliers and assists in maintaining an in-house “Approved Vendor List”.
• Helps develop “Approved Vendors List”. Pre-qualifies vendors, if required, to obtain internal and client approval to use “new” vendors.
• Performs the “RFQ” process and assist in expediting the orders.
• Conducts surveys and market studies to determine price levels, trends, business activities and availability of products.
• Assists in resolving non-conformance issues.
• Regularly exchanges information on new products and sources, market trends and lessons learned with team.
• Undertakes other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager

Required Qualifications

Diploma related to Supply Chain / Engineering

Experience

1-2 years relevant experience in Marine / Offshore oil and gas environment is preferred.
