RESPONSIBILITIES

• Role Purpose(s)

  This individual will perform the role of level 2 security analyst in a 24x7 Security Operations Center responsible for monitoring the environment for potential security threats and incidents. This will include the identification, triaging, analysis, threat-hunting, lead incident investigation and support of remediation recommendations to mitigate the security threats and incidents.

  • Using security tools, perform monitoring and analysis of security events of interest to detect security risks and threats.
  • Create incidents and support the investigation of such incidents to not only mitigate the current threat but also prevent future occurrence.
  • Document all actions taken as part of incident investigation.
  • Work closely with other teams to support the incident management process.
  • Provide tuning and filtering recommendations to engineering team.
  • Conduct investigation upon requests for data by the customer and/or other teams.
  • Assist with the identification, creation and refinement of the team's processes and procedures.
  • Stay abreast of current threats and vulnerabilities, particularly those that may directly impact the customer.
  • Conduct hunts (specialized searches) for evidence of compromise
  • Tracking suspicious network, application, and user behavior
  • Investigating breaches, gathering evidence, and analyzing data
  • Support and guide Junior analysts and engineers on investigation as required.

Job Summary:

Process and manage all aspects of payroll operation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Administer attendance systems and claims, prepare C&B related reports and other projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including basic pay, allowance, overtime and deductions for employees.
• Ensure accurate and timely compliance with all statutory requirements such as CPF, income tax, and other relevant payroll-related obligations.
• Manage employee benefits programs, and enrollment processes to ensure optimal offerings and effective communication, such as insurance, contract, incentive bonus.
• Manage work attendance system and application of Governmental related claims.
• Prepare payroll and work attendance related report.
• Collaborate with Finance to budget for compensation and benefits expenses.
• Stay updated with changes in payroll-related laws, regulations, and practices.
• Other ad hoc tasks.

Required skills / abilities:

• Strong working knowledge of payroll processing and administration.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in payroll processing and record-keeping.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of Singapore's labour laws, CPF, tax regulations, and payroll standards is essential.
• Strong communication skills to resolve employee queries and collaborate with HR, finance, and other teams.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in payroll or accounting.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively managing, developing, and training the service desk team.
• Ensuring that all processes used by the service desk are thoroughly documented, consistently audited, and regularly improved.
• Conducting and sharing results from service and operation performance reviews.
• Promoting the service desk with senior management and working to ensure that it is properly viewed as a core business asset.
• Coordinating and managing all relevant stakeholders, including the support desk team, customers, and other teams that are involved in service desk operations.
• Being aware of and managing the costs of running the service desks.
• Taking ownership of critical incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews
• Ensuring that systems, procedures, and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery

• Supervising desktop management teams (Local and Offshore) to facilitate continual improvements in the desktop environment.

• Making sure that anti-virus updates and patches are applied effectively and promptly.

• Manage and configure computer network and IT infrastructure (Network, server, database, cloud etc.) to support and the day-to-day operations

Specifically, utilising data science approaches involving machine learning and artificial intelligence, A/Prof Gruber’s team focuses on the development and validation of biological ageing clocks for clinical translation and application, as well as for drug discovery in model organisms. Appointments will be made on a two-year contract basis, in the first instance, with the possibility of extension.

Purpose of the post

The successful candidate should have a strong background in advanced machine learning, artificial intelligence, and bioinformatics techniques with practical applications to biological / -omics data. Specifically, he or she will be responsible for data analysis and for developing advanced computational models, algorithms, and tools to analyse and interpret complex biological datasets derived from multi-omics data. The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of advanced statistical, and state-of-the-art artificial intelligence and machine learning methods, as well as expertise in programming languages such as R and/or Python with training in biology, biochemistry or a related discipline.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Associate will work with other team members to develop and validate biological ageing clock algorithms, and will be accountable to the Principle Investigator (PI). The Research Associate will be able to:

1. Develop and apply computational models, algorithms, and tools to analyse and interpret large-scale biological datasets (e.g. clinical, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics);
2. Collaborate with experimental biologists to design and analyse experiments, and interpret results;
3. Stay up-to-date on new computational methods and tools, and apply them to ongoing research projects;
4. Communicate research findings through publications, presentations, and reports;
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computational biology approaches with other disciplines (e.g. clinical medicine).

• Degree in Science or Engineering (preferably in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Nutrition or relevant field).
• Preferably 1-3 years of experience in the quality control of cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, dietary supplement, food, or skincare/medical device.
• Experience in a GMP environment or knowledge of GMP an important plus.
• Knowledge of relevant product standards, quality control and test methods.
• Stringent compliance to procedures, guidelines, standards, and regulations.

Job Description & Requirements:

· Provide first-level technical support to employees through various channels such as in-person, phone, email, or remote access tools.

· Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.

· Perform technical escalation to 3rd party vendor.

· Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.

· Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings.

· Assist in the management and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.

· Monitor and respond to system alerts, ensuring the availability and optimal performance of all IT systems.

· Collaborate with 3rd party vendor to implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and security protocols.

· Document and maintain IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses, and track service requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.

· Provide training and guidance to employees on the effective use of hardware, software, and other IT tools.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in IT support and recommend improvements to enhance the organization's IT infrastructure and processes.

Requirements:

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent, degree in engineering or related field preferred.

2. Training: Completion of NDT Level 3 training program.

3. Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in NDT, depending on the method(s) and industry but preferably in Marine and Oil & Gas sectors.

4. Certification: Valid NDT Level 3 certification in the relevant methods.
