About the team

The TikTok E-commerce governance platform product team is located in five countries: China, SG, UK, Dublin, and US, and is responsible for the efficiency and experience of the governance strategy operation, strategy products, and customer service team, building a global governance and control platform and operation tools, and providing efficient product solutions for multi-market and multi-risk scenarios governance

1. Responsible for the overall planning and construction of the global e-commerce governance platform, including the governance engine, decision platform, enforcement platform and other platform products, as well as the middle and back-end product capacity building

2. Responsible for the global oncall system and debug platform construction, to provide users with efficient and convenient internal operation tools

3. Optimize operational efficiency, improve the platform governance effect, and be able to precipitate a highly scalable, multi-country multi-business scenario scalable product architecture solutions

4. Global business-oriented, able to promote cross-regional and cross-functional cooperation, working closely with legal, operations, algorithms, risk control, R&D and parallel product teams.

5. Ability to understand the business in depth according to the complex business environment, propose creative problem-solving ideas and methods, and effectively solve difficult problems.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor degree or above, 5 years or more working experience in e-commerce middle and backend/open platform/data products/risk control platform and other related work experience.

2. With product structure thinking, have certain business sense and sensitivity.

3. Have data sensitivity and data analysis ability, can from the discovery of problems and opportunity points, drive business growth, effective problem solving.

4. Goal-driven, and enough self-driven, able to data-driven product requirements discovery, improvement and perfection.

• Assist Line Managers with the preparation of weekly flash report
• Prepare monthly P&L statements for the assigned services. Ensure team members complete the monthly closing for their services on time
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation and distribution of monthly reports to the management. These include regional P&L, commentaries, actual vs. flash variance analysis, actual vs. budget gap analysis, etc.
• Prepare schedules for balance sheet accounts related to cost provisions, unearned/ unbilled revenue, cost recoveries, stock and prepayments. Ensure appropriate actions are taken, and in a timely manner
• Liaise with external auditors on audit matters and manage the audit process
• Drive preparation of regional forecasts (quarterly) and budget (annually). This includes ensuring reasonable assumptions are used by Line Managers and the forecast/ budget is reflective of current conditions and business plan. Revenue and cost drivers are to be properly analyzed and presented to management. Ensure submission of reports within stipulated deadlines
• Being an effective business partner to the regional director and managers. Take pro-active steps to engage regional director and managers in understanding the performance drivers in greater depth, going beyond a pure reporting function. Drive value added analysis to provide useful business insights to support/ improve decision making
• Ensure efficient and effective operation of disbursements process – include ensuring disbursements are checked for accuracy, relevant supporting documents are submitted and verified, disputes are resolved promptly, monthly reconciliations are prepared and discrepancies are followed up, and any advances given are accounted for/ recovered timely
• Identify areas of improvements to existing processes/ systems. Take on lead role in system implementation/ improvement projects
• Other ad-hoc work or projects may be given from time to time

• Degree in Accounting with a CA/CPA qualification or its equivalent
• At least 4 years of relevant experience
• Possess audit experience with a big 4 accounting firm
• Experience in shipping is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong working knowledge of MS Excel

The Regional Project Specialist will support the Mission Programme and Comms Manager based in Singapore, as well as to support the mission teams based at new zealand across the region.

The role will be the backbone of logistical operations for all our trade missions. It will execute all phases of the trade missions in event management and logistics.

In the development phase tasks may include:

• Conduct thorough site inspections to venues, hotels to assess suitability
