JOB REQUIREMENTS

2+ years retail experience in a leadership capacity (e.g. management, shift leader, etc.)

Job Responsibilities

• Facilitate Educational Tours, Public Programmes and Learning Journeys to allow Guests to have an in-depth learning experience, and provide insightful information about animals and habitats in the aquarium. This can include programmes conducted in Mandarin.
• Facilitate overnight camps to share fun facts and information about animals in a fun and interactive manner to engage and educate our Guests. This can include overnight camps conducted in Mandarin.
• Interact with Guests to share information on sustainability and conservational matters, and emphasize the importance of taking care of the environment.
• Contribute ideas to new learning journeys that are being developed.
• Assist in packing of logistical items for all Tours, Programmes and Learning Journeys to ensure smooth execution of all our programmes.
• Provide exceptional Guest services by observing safety protocol and upholding service standards.

Job Requirements

• GCE O/A Levels, Diploma and above, in any discipline.
• Passion in serving Guests.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in engaging children and students (guiding, tutoring, teaching, etc) will be an advantage.
• As some programmes may be conducted in Mandarin, fluency in the Mandarin language will be an advantage.
• Passionate about marine animals and environment. Knowledge/background in Marine Biology or marine animals would be useful.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute strategic procurement and contract management support for all directly invested projects.
• Manage and oversee a team of Quantity Surveyors in tender preparation, submission, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Review cost assumptions for new projects.
• Support Risk Management by screening and strengthening contracts, procurement practices, and SOPs for joint-venture projects.
• Attach to project companies for short durations to provide procurement and contracts management support.
• Review project Procurement and Contracts Management Policies and Processes for compliance with Group policies.
• Oversee and resolve delayed and disputed costs, including variation claims.
• Develop and implement strategies for managing Extension of Time (EOT) claims, providing comprehensive support throughout the process.
• Provide assistance and guidance to other departments on procurement activities, ensuring compliance with the Group’s procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar capacity.
• Relevant experience in preparing Tenders for Building, Civil & Infrastructure, and interior design works across infrastructure, industrial, residential, and commercial projects.
• Familiarity with Contracts, Law, and local legal requirements, with strong contractual and pricing knowledge in Vietnam, Indonesia, and China being an advantage.
• Professional qualifications from recognized Quantity Surveying bodies (e.g., SISV, RICS, MRICS) are preferred.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Open to candidates from Developer, Consultancy, or Contractor backgrounds.
• Regional exposure is a plus.
