As the Finance & Accounting Manager, you will start off as the sole member of our finance team, playing a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and operations. Your expertise will guide our financial decisions and practices as we expand our global presence and impact in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all financial aspects of the company, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports & statements to the Leadership Team, providing insights for strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all countries of operation
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and collections
• Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency
• Manage cash flow and funding requirements, including foreign exchange considerations for international operations
• Coordinate financial audits for VentureBlick, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

Requirements

• It is essential that this individual has worked in a supervisory role in the finance function for a startup with international operations
• Prior experience working in a Big 4 audit firm would be highly desirable
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certified
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

Recruitment

• Specialised in end-to-end recruitment functions which include from onboarding (job postings, screening, shortlisting and interviewing candidates, reference checking, and making salary proposal and job offers) to separations
• Analysing and monitoring the resourcing needs, headcounts approvals, budget, preparation of key manpower indexes for management reporting
• Updating of monthly organisation chart
• Partner recruitment agencies on hiring needs
• Support expats entry and onboarding processes
• Handle work pass application, renewal, and issuance
• Attend to all transfer requests and also provide input for mandatory surveys
• Efficiently use different recruitment tactics such as recruitment platforms, career website, social media, job boards, headhunting and Linkedin and employee referral to attract talents
• Work closely with schools on internship, sponsorship and graduate recruitment
• Participate in Career Fair, Internship and any other recruitment projects

Business Partner

• Business partner with the respective department to provide value-added HR support and relevant advice pertaining to HR issues and provide support to various key HR initiatives and drive staff engagement programmes
• Work closely with line manager on annual performance review, design of training roadmap, employee engagement activities, recruitment and any other HR matters to drive attraction, retention and engagement
• Communicate effectively any HR-related policies changes and updates to all staff in the business units assigned
• Perform any other duties as assigned and requested by Manager.

Requirement:

• Possess at least a Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources
• At least 8 year experience in recruitment and business partnering
• Preferably with supervisory experience
• Experience in using HRMS (Prosoft preferred)
• Strong comprehension and communication skills, both written and spoken to interface with all levels of people internally and externally

Job Descriptions:

• Develop, chart, and communicate Aftersales related strategies, budget, framework, policies guidelines and procedures to all stakeholders effectively.
• Monitor its implementation to ensure high-level performance and consistency across all operations.
• Conduct data mining and analysis to facilitate the formulating of Aftersales strategic plans and tactical actions to achieve the annual budget and KPIs.
• Track, analyse and publish Aftersales reports such as Aftersales Integrated Report, Monthly KPI.
• Monitor, analyse and work with the operation which is not meeting the Aftersales KPIs such as revenue growth, customer retention, workshop Efficiency Productivity Utilisation (EPU) etc for improvement plan.
• Develop programs and strategies to achieve various business objectives such as parts purchase target, Net Promoter Score (NPS), Group financial targets, customer retention rate etc.
• Keep in touch with the National Automobile bodies/authorities and major competitors for constant assessment of business condition/situation to keep track closely of the relevancy of the strategies deployed.
• Conduct market intelligence and gather market feedback to analyze and identify new Aftersales trends.
• Build and maintain good rapport with subcontractors, Vendors, Suppliers etc to establish a cohesive working relationship for ease of work and lobby the necessary support when there is a need.
• Ad-Hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Business / Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Possess working experience in automotive industry with a good understanding of Aftersale operation
• Possess extensive local market knowledge and proven good track records in the automotive-related industry
• Possess good analytical skills, good at numbers and an eye for details to perform the strategic planning role effectively
