• Champion and drive the continuous improvement exercise of reviewing, streamlining and digitalising HR processes, for a more efficient and effective delivery of HR Administration services.
• Work closely with HRBP and COE teams to review/design/propose HR administration policy changes and initiatives. Revise internal procedures when policy guidelines change, or as required for legal or other external compliance reasons.
• Lead and coach the HR Administration team, in ensuring smooth operations from onboarding, HRMS transactions and offboarding, as well as handling employee inquiries and issues.
• Oversee and monitor the overall data management for all HRMS transactions to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Review HR processes with internal HR units to ensure work processes are aligned with HR policies/programmes and effectively carried out to achieve their objectives, e.g., ensuring that the employee onboarding programme is achieving the expected outcome, new hires are able to be accustomed to the new environment after x months.
• Collaborate closely with HR Technology team to review/optimize work processes via technology.
• Act as overall coordinator for HR annual budget preparation and collation by working closely with other HR Unit/Functional Heads /Leads on their respective budgets.
• Accountable for managing the vendor procurement process, providing logistical support for HR events and ensuring HR Administration team collaborates with internal HR units.

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of broad HR experience, with at least 3 years in HR administration or HR operations roles, including leadership or supervisory experience. Prior experience in an educational setting or related industry is preferred.
• Demonstrates high level of empathy and advanced listening skills when communicating, influencing and problem-solving people matters.
• Familiarity with general HR policies and practices, local Employment Act, Immigration rules, etc.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team members.
• Experienced in process workflow, transactions and data changes using SAP SuccessFactors modules or any other third-party HR solutions.
• Ability to promote and implement changes to current HR practices and processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to independently handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities in high-pressure situations.

• Accommodations and Accessibility:
  • Assess, recommend, and implement disability-related accommodations to enhance learning accessibility for students with disabilities, both permanent and temporary.
• Student Well-being:
  • Conduct regular socio-emotional check-ins to support the well-being of students receiving disability support services.
• Programme and Club Management:
  • Manage the student assistant programme, overseeing recruitment, training, and service delivery.
  • Coordinate activities of the student club aimed at promoting the inclusion of students with disabilities within SMU.
• Records and Documentation:
  • Ensure accurate and timely management of student records and case documentation in the designated database management system.
• Resource Development and Support:
  • Develop and distribute resource packs and information guides to facilitate disability support across various departments and faculty.
  • Provide support to faculty members and school administrators in assisting students with disabilities.
• Awareness and Engagement:
  • Organise and execute events, workshops, and campaigns to raise disability awareness within the SMU community.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (Registrar's Office, Career Centre, etc.) and external partners (SG Enable, other IHLs, community organiations) to enhance disability inclusion and accessibility on campus.
  • Collaborate with corporate industry partners to create opportunities for inclusive hiring of students with diverse needs and abilities.
• Supervision and Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor other DSS staff and interns to ensure effective support for students with disabilities.
  • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by the Head of MWKLSWC.

• A degree in social sciences, humanities, education, and/or communications.
• 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience in education and/or social work sectors, with a focus on supporting students with disabilities.
• A robust network of contacts within local and international disability support or volunteer welfare organisations is advantageous.
• Proven experience working with clients with special educational needs.
• Strong coordination and organisational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse community.
• Proficient in conducting presentations, workshops, and group facilitation for students, faculty, and staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills in English.

• Generate Accurate Invoices: Prepare and issue invoices to customers, ensuring that the charges are correct and reflect the agreed-upon terms and services.

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, Business, or a related discipline, or individuals currently pursuing CA qualifications with ISCA.
• Recent graduate with relevant competencies may be considered.
• Experience with system changes implementations and UAT.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software and databases.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in any of the major accounting software (SAP, Oracle etc.).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong interest in data management, RPA and data analytics.
• Familiar with BI tools (e.g. Qlik sense, Power BI, Tableau, RPA) has an added advantage.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
