• Assist / Lead in the execution of various corporate finance transactions such as issue manager for initial public offerings (IPOs) and rights issues, financial adviser (FA) and independent financial adviser (IFA) for privatisations, general offers (GOs) and reverse take-overs (RTOs), interested person transactions (IPTs), mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring
• Assist / Lead in the origination of transactions through participating in origination meetings and discussion with clients
• Provide financial and corporate advice to clients in our capacity as sponsor, issue manager, placement agent and/or financial advisor
• Lead in the review of transaction documents such as prospectus, due diligence reports, accountant’s reports, and marketing documents such as pitch books and newsletters
• Liaise and cultivate relationships with clients, professional parties, and regulatory authorities to work towards successful completion of transactions
• Exposure to lead or assist in equity sales works and projects

Profile of ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Registered Professional (for Senior Manager level)
• With 4 to 10 years of corporate finance experience, with a track record of completed transactions ranging from IPOs, RTOs, and other financial advisory projects
• Have a curious mind, be adaptable to changes and willingness to explore new ideas and methods
• Highly motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and work as a team player
• Responsible, meticulous, strong analytical ability and project management skills
• Management and coordination of junior staff across teams
• Experience in equity sales is a plus
• Good leadership, interpersonal, communication and writing skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• MAS reporting, Review quarterly and annual MAS returns to ensure compliance with MAS regulatory requirements
• Reporting of statistics to regulatory bodies
• Monthly tax computation
• Support and review yearly tax computation to IRAS
• Investment Reporting, Review and ensure Investment journals are taken up promptly in Oracle system
• Supports Senior Vice President on investments section of Business Planning

• Provision of information to HOD/Actuary to facilitate actuarial reserving exercises

Degree in accounting or equivalent

• Financial and accounting experience, preferably from an insurance company
• Strong in Microsoft Office Excel
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Words
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of financial accounting, preferably insurance related
• Good appreciation of financial and internal controls, with the ability to balance requirements for internal control with efficiency
• Ability to work in a team environment

Job scope:

Account Receivable

-Manage all aspects of Accounts Receivables and related tasks

-Review and validate invoices for proper documentation prior to payment

-Maintain up-to-date accounts receivable records, ensuring accurate aging, application of credits and collections, handling of uncollectible amounts, and resolution of discrepancies

-Execute daily cash management responsibilities, including recording bank deposits, updating cash receipt logs, and posting cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger

-Oversee and pursue collections of accounts receivable by contacting clients via phone, email, and mail

-Assist in departmental adhoc duties as required

Claims

-Submit e-claims via the Mediclaim portal in compliance with Medisave Regulations

-Update Medisave summary file to track submission and claim status

-Verify claims payments from various institutions for accuracy and address any discrepancies with relevant parties

-Issue final bills or refund checks to appropriate parties

-Organize and maintain all related documents accurately and in a timely manner

-Manage emails and calls regarding claim inquiries

-Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders

-Offer necessary support to ensure quality claim service experience

Requirements:

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Diploma in accounting or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of experience in Accounts Receivable is essential.
