Job Scope:

· Maintain general cleanliness of classrooms and special rooms, general office etc.

· Escort contractors during maintenance works.

· Assist in traffic control and Gate duties during arrival and dismissal time.

· Look out and report any safety hazard and building fault found around the school.

· Basic knowledge and understanding electrical work such as resetting the DB during power trip.

· Provide logistical support for school events and activities, including carrying and arranging furniture and equipment.

· Closing and arming of school.

· Any other duties assigned by the Principal, Vice-Principals, Operations Manager, or any other authorised officer.

Requirements:

· Preferably have 1 year of related working experience in a school setting.

· Language proficiency – able to communicate in simple English Language

· Able to read, understand and reply WhatsApp messages in English for work assigned

Contract Period: 18 March 2024 to 17 September 2024

Location: Punggol

Salary: $1900/month

Working Arrangement:

· Mondays to Thursdays: 9:00am to 6:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

· Fridays: 9.30am to 6:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

· Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.

· Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure the timely filling of vacancies.

· Implement effective strategies for attracting and retaining skilled talent in the manufacturing sector.

Employee Relations:

· Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.

· Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.

· Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and address concerns to maintain a healthy work environment.

Payroll Legislation

· Coordinate and manage the entire payroll process.

· Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and other changes.

· Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.

· Stay updated on labor laws and regulations related to payroll.

· Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.

· Implement and update payroll policies and procedures in accordance with legal changes.

· Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll administration.

· Stay abreast of industry best practices and implement changes accordingly.

Performance Management:

· Develop and implement performance management systems to monitor employee performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

· Coordinate the annual performance review process and provide guidance to managers on goal-setting and performance improvement.

HR Policy and Compliance:

· Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards.

· Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations, and update policies accordingly.

Compensation and Benefits:

· Administer employee benefit programs and communicate changes to employees.

HR Analytics and Reporting:

· Utilize HR data and analytics to generate reports and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

· Monitor key HR metrics and propose improvements based on data analysis.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Proven experience as an HR manager, in a manufacturing environment.

· Knowledge of Info-tech system will be an added advantage

· In-depth knowledge of labour laws, HR best practices, and industry trends.

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

· HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
