• support the Local Operating Officer in all aspects

• support the implementation of the Operational Risk Framework in the location, including; activities relating to Control Assessments (KPCi), the oversight and closure of Operational Risk Issues (ORI) and the annual Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
• be a culture carrier to drive a proactive culture of risk, conduct and escalation in the location through supervisory and risk management training. Provide insights to improve awareness and escalation of risks
• support the Location Head / LOO in the planning & coordination of local projects and strategic initiatives

Your team:

You’ll be working in the Operating Office of UBS Asset Management Singapore. We are a team full of energy, and well-equipped with knowledge to deal with the challenge every day! You’ll be part of the Asset Management COO organization in. In this role, you will work closely with Business Managers and Control Functions both at a global and regional level to ensure business, regulatory and operational risks are identified, understood and assessed, controls are designed and operating effectively, and issues are appropriately reported and are sustainably remediated.

Your expertise:

• ideally 5 or more years’ relevant experience in the asset management business manager, risk, operations, compliance, or similar role
• possess asset management domain knowledge in front-to-back office functions
• exposure in banking or asset management business and practices, systems, processes and controls
• understanding of global best practices in the financial industry and ability to bridge with the entire organization
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and schedule workload

What role will you play?

Job Scopes:

1. Closing Full Set of Accounts​​​​​​

• Prepare journal entries, adjustments and audit schedules to support

2. HR duties

• Assist in the recruiting process including job advertisement posting, resume screening and arranging of interviews.
