The Programme Manager leads a team of Programme Executives. Her primary role is to lead in identifying, planning, coordinating, reviewing and directing skills- and knowledge-enhancement programmes and services for WINGS women according to the strategic directions of the Society and needs of WINGS women. She is also required to identify, recruit and engage the women whom the Society serves.

This position reports to the Executive Director with pathway to the Executive Director role.

Roles and responsibilities

. The manager is responsible for reviewing and creating or selecting course content and materials for training programs according to the changing needs of WINGS women. Training may be in the form of a video, self-guided instructional manual, online application, delivered in person or through a computer or other hand-held electronic device. She must ensure that training methods, content, software, systems, and equipment are appropriate.

. She needs to review the quality of training delivered by subject matter experts and trainers to ensure that workshops meet Geragogy guidelines and lesson outcomes

. She needs to continually identify the training needs of women aged 40 and above through feedback channels and relevant research

· She needs to develop new programmes and services to meet the needs of women aged 40 and above according to the direction set by the Executive Director and members of the board

· Collaborate with other organisations such as government agencies, community organisations and training providers to develop training programmes and services

· Market the training programmes, including developing pricing strategies

· Tap on funding sources from government agencies or partners or stakeholders for programme development and new services

. Identify, recruit and engage the women whom the Society serves

· Lead and supervise a team of executives

Support the development of the programme:

• Apply structured methodology when working with the team and stakeholders to analyse patterns, behaviour, systemic structures and deepen understanding of the challenges faced
• Through a structured approach, need to learn and/or understand concepts and match concepts to current state operating models, prioritise and recommend areas for change
• Have a strong overview of what these needs are by having an effective structure and process in that will tie in with the workstreams
• Able to propose, a coherent plan that can address challenges by e.g., translating care models onto specific areas of need

Programme Evaluation

• Conduct evaluation and review of programme and projects. This includes conducting data analysis and research.
• Working with the Leaders on the phases of change to the new model of care.
• Managing both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects that can span across different stakeholders in the primary care sector.
• Managing risks to the programme's successful outcomes including but not limited to grants processing, liaising with Divisions to ensure proper controls are put in place for fund administration.
• Initiating necessary actions and additional interventions whenever gaps in the programme are identified or where issues arise.
• Reporting the progress of the programme at regular intervals.

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in any discipline with minimum 7 years of relevant working experience (Experience in healthcare industry is a plus but not a must)
• Trained in systems thinking and experience in implementing and facilitating change would be an added advantage
• Possess strong organizational skills, critical thinking, apply an analytical and structured approach toward problem-solving
