Responsibilities

Level 3 Troubleshooting and resolution: The role will be responsible for Level 3 network support and troubleshooting on both cloud and on-prem as well as work closely with MSP to resolve issues that are impacting the business.

Network projects: The role will be responsible for working on and support global network projects from both planning, hands-on implementation and supporting project teams on various technical projects.

Technical Leadership: Act as the technical authority for network services, providing guidance and support to the Network team and clients. Lead the design, implementation, and support of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment. Develop technical documentation, including network diagrams, policies, and procedures. Work closely with the Infrastructure Architecture Team on new solutions being proposed and how to incorporate those into the operational model.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Receiving installation, testing, commissioning, and service schedule instructions from the Project Supervisor/Manager.
• Preparing to attend installation and service jobs, which involves contacting customers and landlords to schedule installations and service requests, and organizing the necessary project equipment, spare parts, and safety gear.
• Diagnosing and isolating faults, communicating with customers about the cause of the issues, and outlining corrective actions.

Skills For Success

• Degree in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering, or any other relevant discipline.
• Cisco CCIE certified or CNNP with rich experience troubleshooting in complex enterprise LAN and large WAN network.
• At least 8+ years’ experience in similar support roles, working directly with large global customers and partners.
• Minimum to have one SDWAN certifications.
• Working experience minimum in two of the following SDWAN product: Cisco, Silverpeak, Velocloud, Fortinet, etc.
• Strong knowledge on Telco and enterprise network and technologies.
• Strong understanding of routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, MPLS, TE, SR, QoS, SDWAN Overlay protocols.
• Expertise with Remote Access VPN solutions, IPSEC, PKI & SSL, TCP/IP, Authentication Protocols (LDAP, RADIUS etc.)
• Experience of Security services (IDS/IPS, UTM, DDoS, Firewalls etc.)
• Working Experience with security products like Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc, is a plus.
• Strong ability to independently debug broad, complex, and unique networks with mixed medium and protocols required.
• Cloud and Virtualization experience (AWS, Azure, VMWare, OpenStack) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong situational awareness and critical thinking abilities.
