Responsibilities

Enable production Metro/RDA needs

• Provide first level of support for engineering requests, recipe maintenance, tool recovery and basic troubleshooting of tool issues
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Equipment and Process Engineering teams to set daily priorities and enable efficient communication.
• Provide support and liaise with tool owners and vendors for long term down equipment, tool installation, relocation and upgrades, Preventive Maintenance (PM) and/or Corrective Maintenance (CM) schedule on tools
• Ensure all Special Work Requests (SWRs) are processed correctly and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with Production, Equipment and Process Engineering teams to optimize tool maintenance schedules and utilization
• Partner with Process, Equipment Engineering and capacity teams to determine sampling strategy to meet Production, Process Control and Quality requirement

Monitor and ensure all Metro/RDA tool meet measurement and inspection standards.

• Set up tool qualification criteria, implement, monitoring through Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Make decisions on how to address tools and products that are out of control for established SPC rules for both process and defect related issues
• Develop and manage projects designed to reduce cost, reduce tool measurement variability, improve availability, and find solutions to ongoing problems
• Partner with Process, Equipment Owners and vendors for equipment upgrades/enhancements to improve tool performance
• Perform periodic assessment, tool-to-tool matching & GR&R, etc. to ensure tool measurement accuracy.

Evaluation and enable next generation tool to close metrology gaps.

• Partner with the metrology/inspection tool vendors to develop new hardware, software, and technologies.
• Work with Manufacturing, Process and Equipment team on tool/product requirements.
• Task 3 - Perform tool evaluation and buy-off.

Seek and drive methodology breakthrough to improve efficiency in metro/rda function.

• Drive process improvement through new recipe creation that helps to provide accurate and faster feedback to the line, thereby improving the confidence level of the product.

Job Description:

The position, located in Singapore, is an exciting opportunity to be part of an Innovative & Dynamic team, within the Imaging Validation Team, part of the Imaging Division, working on different worldwide leading technology image sensors targeting various customers and markets (Consumer, Industrial, Automotive).

As a Functional Validation Engineer, you would be involved in the validation of the various products of the division. The objective of the job is to ensure the functional performances of the product is aligned with the specification. Two kinds of platforms will be used: FPGA prototyping platform in a first step, silicon platform with final product in a second step. You will be supported by a large team of technical experts in validation, Optic, Electronic, Mechanics, software.

As a Functional Validation Engineer, you:

• Will be responsible of validation environment development: Test suites definition, Laboratory test bench, test development, validation automation, documentation.
• Will be in charge of the analysis and the solution of technical challenges.
• Will support customer for the integration of the product in customer platform
• Will collaborate with different Product Development Teams: IC Design, IC Architecture & Algo, Embedded Software/Firmware
• Will collaborate with application team in order to provide best solution for the customer

Profile:

- Bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.

- At least, 6 years of experience, in Validation, Testing or Electronic product development.

- Mandatory skills:

• Analog or Digital Electronic Knowledge
• Programming skills in Object Oriented Software Language (Python preferred)
• Data Base management tools (git, SVN)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

- Softskills required:

• Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Good level of autonomy, methodology and rigor
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in one of the following area:

• Electronic Component verification, validation, or industrial test
• Electronic System Development
• Microcontroller Firmware development

- Additional optional skills:

• Electronic System experience
• Thorough familiarity with lab measurement techniques and test equipment (Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, …)
• Standard electronic communication protocols knowledge: I2C, I 3C, MIPI CSI2
• Automatization tools experience (Jenkins, gerrit)
• Knowledge in CMOS image sensors and in image data processing

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Informative Technology or Computer Engineering
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Technology
• Minimum have MSCE & CCNA or relevant System and Networking certifications
• Security+, CISSP, CISA, or relevant security certifications and highly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux OS for Server and Client
• In-depth knowledge of Applications like Web Server (IIS, Apache, etc) and Database (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle DB, etc)
• In-depth knowledge of Networking, Firewalls, and Cybersecurity
• Familiar with security standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO27001, CIS Benchmark, and OWASP
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Good documentation, especially in Risk Assessment, FAT, SAT, Checklist and Method of Statement
